SOLAS SLIGHTLY DISAPPROVES
Midpage Solas as penance? It's never the wrong time or place for more Solas!
Lol, is the chantry paying you? I'm very pro Mage, I never sided with the Templars once in DA2..
Never sided with the templars in 2 either, but then there is quite a difference between the templars in 2 and 3.
perhaps one day, maybe with a non Mage, but I have trouble playing non Mages, only really because it's the class I have the most fun with. I don't really feel it with the others...it's complicated.
That's not much of an excuse, could always just roll a Trevalyan circle loyalist mage.
Here's Solas being sad about the Breach, then. Does anything else think he didn't quite predict it would be so destructive or that an actual Breach would happen?

Guys I made my friend buy DA:O and DA2 because of Solas and Cullen, and she usually only plays video games when she´s at my place
Solas probably didn´t know the orb would cause the breach and he didn´t expect Cory to survive either, but he probably knew there was going to be some form of explosion at least. Btw, is the entity in the fade in the masked empire him? Because I was expecting something surrounding Briala´s Eluvians in the game.
Have you ever tried an dual wielding rogue?
I haven't no, melee doesn't sit right with me and I've tried an Archer but it just doesn't feel right.

I could.. I'm mulling it over!
I did it...now let's see how far I can get into it before I give up....
People are so talented. The lyrics are wonderful.
People are so talented. The lyrics are wonderful.
They are, I'm so untalented when it comes to music and artsy stuff, words come to me but not all the time, I do words...
You've really ought to experience the mission yourself instead of just watching it on youtube. Simply watching it does not do the mission justice.
And speaking of someone who did romance Alistair in Origins with my canon warden, I fail to see the hesitation you have.
Far from the only reason.
But I am getting dangerously off-topic, don't want to turn this into a mage/templar debate.
Maybe I should have said "main reason" ![]()
Nah I did the Templar Quest first and I loved it. Its a great quest and there are reasons for choosing them.
(One of them Dorians Quest it seems... :-/ )
Now back to Solas. ^^
I could.. I'm mulling it over!
You don't even have to ally with them, you can always disband them at the end and absorb the remaining knights into the inquisition.
Don't tell me that doesn't appeal to you, the templar knights bending the knee and pledging fealty to a mage.

Okay, yes, I forgot I could do that...*strokes chin*
UGH, me feeeeeeeelz.
Yes, it will have the Inquisitor assembling a team to find Solas including Merrill, Vivienne, a vaguely evil human played by Burn Gorman, and an impossibly suave qunari played by John Barrowman. It'll be what be what Halo: ODST was for Firefly but for Torchwood.
Edit: Oh no I'm topping the page... Uh, save me Tumblr!
I'm conflicted by how many depictions there are of Lavellan with white hair. On the one hand it looks amazing, on the other my Lavellan is a 30-something vaguely Persian looking brunette.
Ohhh imagine wearing this dress in Halamshiral, dancing with Solas instead of Florinella. *sigh*
What a lovely song *tears up* ....

Whatever his predictions were, they were very wrong. I want to hug him but also smack him for that decision.
Holy sh!t!! I want to make a Tumblr just to like this. Man, people and their talent. o_o

Someone on twitter brought up that Dumat died the same year andraste was born. Andraste was super powerful. What if when dumat was killed by the wardens, the soul went into whatever powerful baby mage was near by?
"Andraste was born at -203 Ancient (992 TE) in Denerim, which was then a fishing village."
"Dumat was finally slain by Grey Wardens at the Battle of Silent Fields in -203 Ancient (992 TE), the Wardens having learned by that point that only a death blow dealt by one of their Order would prevent the archdemon's resurrection in a new host body."
I did hate having to kill Fiona. There's not even really any acknowledgement of who she is. The quest in In Hushed Whispers is better too, though the templar side has more Cole and Calpernia > Samson. But I can't talk since I don't seem to be able to finish my human rogue game. Just going to play Lavellan on a loop, apparently. I'm not going to fight it while it's still fun.Yeah, I'm very pro Mage so..I worry that it might feel weird. I always ally with the Mages..maybe I should just watch a video or something, I don't think I'm ready to make Alistair an orphan.
My guess is that Andraste is an OGB and is who Cole refers to when he says "It was wrong to put it in a child. It hurt her."Someone on twitter brought up that Dumat died the same year andraste was born. Andraste was super powerful. And if you're feeling slightly more ruthless. Encourage Cullen to keep taking the lyrium, it will make the templars who joined the inquisition decide not to go back to the Chantry after Cory is defeated and they become the elite core of the inquisitor's private army.
Now back to Solas. ^^
Ah yes, of course.
Confession. Wanting to know what happens to Solas next (especially in a romance playthrough) is the primary reason I even made an elf inquisitor to begin with.

I knoooooow. Just look how happy Solas looks. I didn't know seeing a drawing of a peacefully sleeping fictitious character could feel like being stabbed 58 times in the chest with a rusted steak knife.
