Hm. Weekes; "If you really want to get to know Solas listen to what he brings up on his own."
Solas; "Iron Bull, how do you people put on shirts?"
Shirts were a very important part of ancient Elvhen culture. A shirt defined who an individual was, from their status to their role in society. It took Solas a long time to find the proper shirt, one that would appropriately define the role he intended to take during the Dragon Age: Lonely Apostate Elf Hermit. Then he realized he needed something extra, because of his penchant for tight leggings.
As such, Solas is fascinated with the shirt-wearing habits (or lack thereof) of other races. Surely the qunari must wear them at least for matters of ritual importance!
(Yah, kind of a lame joke...)
"Well, it doesn't want for sand."
- Solas in the Hissing Wastes
Stained glass and crystal being important in the artwork of the ancient Elvhen, Solas was impressed by the potential glass-crafting possibilities of the vast deserts in southwestern Thedas.
Did we hear a nothing on future dlc? I saw a fe2 pa ges back someone mentioned they admitted they are working on one. Any idea on time or content?
Well, there have been game files found suggesting a qunari-themed DLC. I expect that would give the qunari Inquisitors a bit more relevance. Also, if it ties in much with Iron Bull, well, Weekes wrote Iron Bull. There may be dialogue from other companions as well, in which case he'd also need to write for Cole and Solas, lest anyone play it prior to the end of the game and still have Solas in their party.
I wouldn't expect anything too intense regarding Solas until perhaps the final one or two DLCs.
