Listening to Solas and Cassandra become close friends is so nice.
I think if things were different, they would make a wonderful couple. But seeing them bond as friends is also really nice.
I also love that the first thing that makes them like each other is their shared hatred of other people.

You have to go through the whole game and ALL their banters but by the end it's totally clear that both really respect each other. So unless you have a romanced/bff Inky for Solas - Cassandra is probably the most important person to him in the group.
Well, he is sort of used to this... after all, I did inform him while playing Origins that if Alistair popped out of the screen, we would be running away together, after all.
I dunno though, I CANNOT get over Solas. Perhaps because the whole romance arc was just so. Damn. BEAUTIFUL. And then it kicks you in the teeth and leaves you sobbing on the floor. I wasn't even planning on romancing Solas my first play through, suddenly it was just happening.
I need some ice cream and a blankie now.
Luv, I am going through the same thing. His romance, and his character hit me so hard I was depressed and couldn't eat. I made myself eat, but I had no appetite. Give yourself a good cry, read some fluffy fanfic, whatever you need.
I'm feeling better, and it still hurts, but I'll be better. And so will you.

Just an FYI, but the "perfume banter" is actually a Cassandra banter that is not exclusive to Solas, so it has nothing to do with the Solas romance. Apparently there are trees in the Hissing Wastes that let off a nice smell but apparently are also poisonous. Viv's the one who clears that up.

The songwriter Phemiec has the right idea. All we need to do is get a mabari to sniff Solas' stuff. The dlc would be us walking the mabari on a leash with it dragging us over mountains and rivers.
So I just thought I would share some scenes that my Lavellan was actually happy in...Solas is in one of them...but Cullen appears in one as well, lol! I also shamelessly added my other IQ in there, Orion Trevelyan.
Just starting out in my Solas romance playthrough, and can I just mention that Levellan and Solas' flirting is adorably chaste.
If I hadn't clicked the heart button, I don't think I'd know they were flirting! It's like the early 1900s, all very proprietary.
