Scintilla mentioned you can stop by a chest in Emprise du Lion, save, and then keep opening it until you get the schematic. I did that earlier at Ishmael's little keep area, and got it in eight reloads.

It took me wayyy longer than that. You can do the chests in emprise du lion, but it gets reallyyy boring just reloading one. I suggesting leaving one item behind in every tier 3 chest you come across and just play the game. Come back later and look at the chests again.

Just starting out in my Solas romance playthrough, and can I just mention that Levellan and Solas' flirting is adorably chaste.

 

If I hadn't clicked the heart button, I don't think I'd know they were flirting! It's like the early 1900s, all very proprietary.

I just want to say the podcast with PW really tugged my hearstrings and made me cry. But, definitely inspired me in my writing. Unfortunately, I am now heading down a bittersweet end for this long epic.

Owwch. I guess I just got lucky then. Still haven't found the dalish heavy armor, if it is any compensation. Someday, I will complete all the elf sets.

Basically, just leave one or more items in the chest, save the game, and reload. As long as you have one item in the chest, the game would think that it's still full and give it new random items the next time you open it. Most of the schematic drops in this game are random unfortunately.

I'm still wondering why the heck Bioware made the robes that look like the ones Merrill wears...into rouge armor. That is so weird because I know I saw in an old gameplay vid from BW itself...a mage was wearing those robes.

I just finished Therinfal Redoubt and I did not like it. I'm glad I did it once and Cole is adorable and so is Barris, but I hate timed quests. Plus envy killed me twice because I missed a supply refill. Heh.

In any case I think it'll always be mages from here on out. It'll be interesting to see the reactions from everyone since I totally disbanded the templars. I feel like my whole goal this playthrough besides romance Solas is to make opposite decisions from what I did in my last playthrough.

Yeah, the Therinfal Redoubt thing made me anxious. Because I kept worrying people in the hall would die. And I couldn't find the right place to go. I kept getting lost and the timer kept going down.

 

I like how the mage quest sets up the friendship with Dorian, anyways. It's like He's the Hermione to my Harry and Ron and time-travel is our troll in the dungeon or something.

That's funny, because I much prefer Therinfal to time-travel!

 

Good thing both sides are well written. It's easy to make opposite decisions out of pure curiosity. (Although a few of those opposites made me tear up!)

I've been thinking of Solas' bone. Why is it black instead of white? Did he intentionally burn the bone or did he found it buried in the ground?

It's his Sesshomaru armor. It represented Sesshromaru's tail since he was a dog demon, so I thought this was representing Solas' wolf tail when I saw the armor.

My Mage!Lavellan didnt drink from the Well because she knew it will impair her will (she had a moment of doubt and freaked)

Now I rolled Rogue!Lavellan who is hot tempered and impulsive. She is definitely going to drink from the Well but what reason can I headcanon for her drinking from it?
Having a hard time wrapping my head around it
