Speaking of songs, there's a nice one, called "October and April". Then there are also "Forever Yours" and "Until Silence" ("Goodbye/I know my love will go on/I'll wait until the tears are gone/Goodbye/I know this love will go on/Until the silence says goodbye") and "Memories" and... So many other beautiful sad songs fitting Solavellan.

About the Fade... I noticed the giant statue gushing blood in Flemythal's version of it.    Wish someone more talented would flycam closer to see what that is. A re-enactment of Mythal's murder?

I woke up from a weird dream and started thinking depressing thoughts about Solas and Lavellan. I was thinking about what the most tragic ending would look like. I don't think it would be one in which we have to kill Solas, I think it would be more like this:

 

Solas left Lavellan knowing that in order to achieve his goals, he would have to use all of his power, thus ending his life. He does not want her to fall too deeply for him because he does not want her to grieve at his death. As Solas was performing the final ritual to achieve his goal, he smiled thinking to himself that he will make a beautiful world for Lavellan and his people. He imagined her to be happy and at peace. Then at the last step of his ritual, Lavellan shows up with a determined expression on her face. She pushed a surprised Solas away and sacrificed her own life instead. Solas, in shock, held her in his arms not even noticing as the world changed around him -- the outcome that he has sought for years. T_T
