I was thinking last night, do we know that Fen'Harel tricked the other Gods into being sealed away? Is it possible they agreed to it? He did it to "save them". I'm thinking he did it to protect them from the blight. I was playing multiplayer last night, in the Elvhen ruins, and lots of the murals of the Elvhen Gods had statues of Fen'Harel standing guard in front of them. Maybe they agreed to be locked up, whilst Fen'Harel would stand guard until it was safe to release them. It would explain why Fen'Harel has wolf imagery, when he's supposed to be a traitor. There's also those statues of Fen'Harel/Mythal (guarding?) the Elluvian in the epilogue, so maybe the same goes for Mythal. 

 

Not really sure I believe this, as Solas seems to feel it was a mistake he made when he was younger and thought he knew everything. Which doesn't sound like what he would think if it was a joint agreement. I kinda like the idea though...

It could be game mechanics. They may not have a way to 'reset' things after locking a romance in. Only one romance would make people want to, really, and the only person who could be romanced at that point is Cullen, I think. Every other romance is tied to events/dialogues that the player has probably already done.

This game was pretty major for Elves, especially if you play as one. Learning the truth behind Vallasin, the Gods, the Exalted March and the Eluvians made me all the more glad I played as an Elf for this game. My Elf Mage Warden should be happy his son was able to steer the Eluvian into the Fade, he'll be a bit disturbed learning about the truth of Flemeth and that Morrigan has bound herself to her forever. I wonder if Merrill's Eluvian still works...

Solas as the Dread Wolf was badass. It make me curious as to where are all the other Creators.

I meant game mechanics is more likely than trolling.   Weekes seems to feel bad for us at least.

It could be game mechanics. They may not have a way to 'reset' things after locking a romance in. They look like the same tarot card designs that came with the special edition. Which had all the major characters, and then I think the cards for different races/classes. They are all sooooooooo pretty~

Just an FYI, but the "perfume banter" is actually a Cassandra banter that is not exclusive to Solas, so it has nothing to do with the Solas romance. Apparently there are trees in the Hissing Wastes that let off a nice smell but apparently are also poisonous. Viv's the one who clears that up.

I was wondering about this... also, I've been going back through the thread and I seriously cannot respond to all the conversations I love fast enough and APPARENTLY we have rationed like button privileges so I'm feeling kinda stingy with likes on anything but fanfic and great pictures...

I STILL can't find who posted that hilarious set of DAI combat symbol interpretations to like it... and I TOTALLY missed the dream about Varric being a muppet earlier.

I just want you all to know, that this thread has been a godsend as a Solas support group for me. My social media posts on Christmas were literally 'I don't know which is worse...that I was dumped by my imaginary boyfriend...or that I was dumped by my imaginary boyfriend on christmas, WTH Bioware? Marry Christmas to me???'

Serves me right for playing my first playthrough and getting to that juncture on Chistmas eve I guess?

Favorite Elven Ruin? For me it's the Temple of Mythal or the Solassan Temple. Being a mage really helps in understanding all the magical mysteries when one is Elvhen. Not to mention my passion for ancient history. Lavellan Mage for the win.   

 

Same, I love the Temple of Mythal, my favourite place/mission.  Only done it the once though...it's such a shame that it hurts so much after you get back *sigh*.

That would make a lot of sense. I wonder if they'll do it though, with Mahariel already being the default Warden. Maybe they're trying to tell us something about the importance of elves.
