That would make a lot of sense. I wonder if they'll do it though, with Mahariel already being the default Warden. Maybe they're trying to tell us something about the importance of elves. 

 

 

That was what went through my mind as well. Would it look weird if Bioware made two of their default protagonists Dalish elves? I mean, it's not weird but  would fans object? I know there those who reeaaally don't like elves.   

 

True, Lavellan had the most ties to the main story of DA:I; but then again I remembered back then in DA:O people said that the Cousland origin was the most tied to the story and we know now that Bioware didn't make that origin their default.

Yeah, it does make the most story sense but originally DAI was written for a human protagonist only.

I read that and literally almost panicked because I thought for a split second Saturday had already happened and I missed it.

Relief when I realized I hadn't.

Someone said in ridiculously long time ago in the thread that one of the symptoms of having solasindrom is that you can revert every song to be meant for Solas/Lavellan/Solavellan.............................................

So this is something like an add to the topic ' There are ridiculously many wolf statues scattered through the game '. Yes, it is kind of natural to see lots of them in the Emerald Graves, but I’ve found one or two in other places. And they were ... significant is weak to say.

(Sorry if i'm ruining the thing to found it by yourself but I was eager to share it right here - with this community. And sorry if somebody had already shared them.)

This was my first Giant killing - lyrium Giant. It was challenging and I wanted to do everything right so I used a lot the tactical camera to consider my moves. This happens to be in Emrpise du Lion, trying to take over the keep there (where you encounter Ishmael ... - hilarious !).

Carving a wolf into the mountain - sure, why not?!

I was going to pay a visit to a friend (trying to distract myself from the devastating love and story ending with Solas…) and saw this .. incredible graffiti! Guess what – that didn’t help!

I was in a hurry because it's quite cold here and it didn't cross my mind to read all the text on the right side. Of what I can tell (the picture isn't good enough to read it clearly) it says something about the wolf that lies inside every soul and that nomatter what you do - it will always be there, waiting, alone and loving. To be clear - the work was made long , long time ago, so it surely isn't related to the topic here , thought it is extremely accurate!

So...? Do I get to climb the cozy blanket fortress?

About the Fade... I noticed the giant statue gushing blood in Flemythal's version of it.    Wish someone more talented would flycam closer to see what that is. A re-enactment of Mythal's murder?

He gets defensive when Morrigan says that it's strange to find a Fen'Harel statue in the Temple of Mythal, yeah. I think it's funny that he's all HOW DARE YOU at Morrigan when she's saying the same thing he says later about whether the elven gods were actually gods.

It could be that he became very distracted by the old memories of it. He does break up with Lavellan after the temple, and he seemed shocked to find Mythal still alive. [Well, 'endured'.] Realizing he was accountable to someone else may have made everything that happened in the past drag itself back up into the present.

That giant one just has me laughing. Especially hand in hand with Varric's conversation about villains:

"Iron Bull: Hey, Varric, I was reading your stuff. Where do your bad guys come from?

 Varric: Well, some of them come from Tevinter and some are Ben-Hassrath spies, but I like the story where the villain was the man beside you the whole time.  The best villains don't see themselves as evil. They're fighting for a good cause and willing to get their hands dirty."

I don't actually think Solas is a villain. I believe him to be an antihero that is arrogant (or prideful if you will ;D) enough to royally screw up from time to time because he is willing to get his hands dirty. ;} Unfortunately the outward result may appear the same.

Imagine if the X-Force, Dark Knight or Green Arrow accidentally offed the wrong man? Or took a risk that might have been avoided, but got innocent people killed?

Since he says it more than once in the game, could it be a hint that the "anchor" could also be the key to helping him release the rest of the elven gods. Or something like that. I mean it's just the way he says "our salvation". I am sure it all in my head and that he really is just talking about everyone's salvation and closing the breach. But I figured I would share and get everyone's opinion.

That´s what I think, I think he might approach the inquisition again and ask the inquisitor for help,with it being revealed that he needs your mark, I also think this might lead to the inquisitors death

Didn't someone mention that the wolves on those murals represent the Inquisition? Maybe the wolf on the last one has nothing to do with Fen'Harel, or at least not directly?

Still, it looks too much like those two statues near the eluvian in the final cutscene...
