I have no idea tbh. Everything else Alix ever voiced was extremely well done in my opinion. I love the way she sounds whenever it comes to sarcastic lines or even flirty/seductive lines. The American voice is great for aggressive lines, but I typically have kind, sarcastic, or stoic characters. So her voice isn't really my cup of tea.

Last thing I'll say so I'm not keeping things off-topic.

i agree, I love Alix's acting.  I adore her voice.  I can't help but think having that line feel like the wrong reaction to the situation was deliberate.  I know they forgot to write the proper dialogue in regards to Solas' reaction to the Well

Merrill is my least favorite of all the DA2 companions, and the only one I never romanced (other than to sleep with her and dump in in that one playthrough where I sleep withe everyone). 

 

Nothing annoys me more than when people start bringing up her coming back and having something to do with Solas. In fact, I thought I was cool with Merrill until people started suggesting that. It wasn't until I read those ideas that a seething hatred for Merrill started bubbling underneath my skin.

I'm ok, really I am. I just don't ever need to see Merrill again.

I did get both kiss scenes, but there's never been any option to break-up like with the other romances, and there isn't any default scene thing I have access to (like with Cullen you can take him and got kiss anytime there doesn't seem to be anything like that). Is this normal for the Solas romance, or did something go awry somehow? :/

This is normal. Solas has three romance scenes (four if you count the Wicked Hearts balcony one that every romance gets), no gift, and can't be kissed or broken up with at any time. You'll get one more chance to break up with him in the final romance scene otherwise the romance will lock in then.

This is normal. If you want to break up with him, do it during the third romance scene. You have to be the one to do it, don't let the whole scene play out.

I really loved Alix's voice acting a lot!After hearing her deliver many lines throughout the game,I must admit that I particularly loved her work on the Solas romance.Of course she has many powerful moments in the game but I can't help but smile everytime she says "felt the whole world change?"

That's true enough. I've read a lot of good stories that were derailed by smut interrupts where a passionate kiss and fade to black would have been a better fit.

Some writers can be great at writing smut while keeping their story interesting and focused. That is the kind I appreciate so it's not like I am all destroy smut and everyone who writes smut are total losers...I think the opposite, lol!

Amazing she went back Specialist Traynor to voicing a PC...I really hope to see her in more VA positions like she was for DA:I.

 

I know that BW cut a lot of stuff...but just plain forget about writing the proper dialogue? That is kind of funny...but really sad. It would be easy fix for them to include it in a DLC...maybe.

Yavana is dead, isn't she? I didn't read the final comics series but Alistair runs her through? Anyway it may be that Morrigan is close by, and has Kieran as her charge.

The war leader reminded me of Concept Art Guy. The clan didn't deserve what happened. They treated the humans poorly, but it was similar to how Loghain and Maric were treated in TST.

Apparently so, but Asha'bellanar wanted to give Morrigan the gift during the Fifth Blight (which is why Morrigan sent the Warden after her, since she interpreted this to be possession), while Yavana seems to have been looked over, despite fulfilling Asha'bellanar's plans to awaken the dragons.

 

As for the warleader, I would have preferred to see him (and the other characters) more three-dimensional, particularly when I contrasted him with how Weekes fleshed out the other characters to make them more layered and complex. They end up having little to no character, and don't even use proper elvish terminology (which, to be fair, Weekes told me on twitter was a matter of trying to avoid confusing the readers). However, I feel like the clan was simply a plot device for Briala to get her hands on the Eluvian network across Orlais.

 

I hope it does. I'd almost think it has to, unless they're saving that for the next game.

Ack, I just watched that person's video of turning Cole out from the Inquisition... you'd have to be a monster.

 

I'd imagine they would try to explore it before the next game, since the future games will apparently explore the northern regions of Thedas and move away from southern Thedas.

 

As for Cole, I could never imagine doing that. I liked Solas all the more for all his attempts to watch over Cole, and befriend him while others ostracized or feared him.

I think it's better we not venture into Cullen popularity. They have had a really, really difficult time of it with the rest of the board. Lol. I think we are moving plenty fast and I think once the devs come out of their self exile they will know just how popular Solas has become.

I miss seeing Allan in the thread, actually. I hope he will come back after all this holiday stuff dies down.

I think in a game where Alistair remains a Warden, you have to do Wicked Eyes before doing any of the Warden stuff.  I know people have had troubles getting it to trigger.  Someone who got it to work correct me, but I think you don't even want to talk to Varric on the battlements until after the stuff in Halamshiral is complete.  When you go to the garden Alistair should be standing next to Morrigan, that's when it triggers.  I think I have that right.

Well my warden(who romanced Morrigan) didn´t do the dark ritual and sacrificed himself so Kieran is just a normal kid,apparently this version is the easiest one to trigger? I still have´t gotten it to work on my other playthroughs

Also, is it awful of me to want to leave the people of Sahrnia to die in those cages in the mine? I had a whole bunch of Red templars doing crazy damage (they're higher levelled than me, on nightmare), and that guy in the cage keeps whining at me to save them, over and over AND OVER. SHUT YOUR FACE AND WAIT. I CAN'T BE PICKING LOCKS WITH ALL THESE RED TEMPLARS FIRING ARROWS IN MY FACE.

 

I wish Tristan could have opened the cage and gone "HAPPY NOW? GO ON, SOD OFF." Then kick them in the back of the legs.
