Hey, man. I'm team Optimism. But I'm also team Realism. : P
Or is it Team Dream Shatter? ![]()
Just let me freak out for like 10 minutes and then I'll come back down to earth.

With stuff like this, unfortunately, it is better to side with realism before reading too far into it. Game notes are fiiillledd with things that don't end up in the game. They don't always indicate future content. Its possible at one time they were planning to allow for love triangles. If it is, then other love interests should have a similar dialogue box.
If not...then, the wording of it is interesting.

I can't imagine being in a Love Triangle situation with Solas, tbh. Would be strange.
I still love the grim and fatalistic line. Makes me giggle a little.
Now that we know it exists the question is where it comes from. Is it a DLC file already stuck in the way part of the From Ashes DLC was, or is it from the game file to restart the relationship after a breakup, like you're suggesting.
I want DLC. Please be DLC. PLEASE be DLC!

Oh I know.
I'm just being a bit silly. We all fall to the doom and gloom so easily, it's nice once in a while to give into the optimism. Especially when things like that are found. I always temper my expectations. Because the let down will be horrible.
Apparently we can have solas back after a breakup ?
What is this?! I want this!
Realistically that was probably just there to allow you to restart a relationship if you broke up during a prior scene or something and they decided to take it out.
@Renmiri if you see this
Are you able to look and see if there are files like that for other characters?
Well, damn, that means I'm going to have to do another pt to trigger it. I just got to Halamshiral but did the first Warden quest before I went.
There has to be more to it than that, because I started and finished Halamshiral before starting and finishing the warden quest and still couldn't get it to trigger (though i'm attempting it with Loghain). Some people have had some luck activating the warden quest up to Adamant, then doing all of Halamshiral, then going back to Adamant, but I'm not sure if that works any better.

I don't know how you are able to keep track of all that. The dialogue isn't written down in any particular order. Even lines which are spoken directly after one another are jumbled up with the Inquisitor's and lines from other dialogue options. I honestly cannot see any order in that.

I think Loghain is bugged. I don't know of anyone that has gotten it to trigger no matter what order things are done in.
Noticed there are some new people (or at least people who aren't normally browsing the thread at the same time I am), so friendly PSA that we have a chat room in addition to the BSN thread here:

ok that "re-enable Solas thing i found is the very last thing on the file. Is very weird. And that Gasp.. Is this something they put on the game but didn't have time to finish ?

Does the order of it matter? Only time It could take place is after the Balcony scene right? But as others said, Any of the other companions have something similar?
I personally think that gasp is a troll or something because they knew you brilliant modders would be going through the game files.

Yeah, I think I'm leaning towards a easter egg for the modders. : P

Wasn't there some weird unused voice file from the Inquisitor?
Where she was like "Solas, I need help/I'm not feeling well", I think that's what it was...

The kind of Easter egg that will have chocolate in it when it's opened? Or the kind that is rotten inside?

Could have been a joke for the developers. But I like to think it was something they didn't have time to add. Maybe Solas was meant to come back at the end, balcony?
