I'm still hopeful, but I wouldn't be surprised now If Viv and Varric now as the final 2. I don't know why but he's starting to feel like the final male BI. They might not reveal him til later.

Solas will just have to assume his place in the Mordin Solus Memorial Pantheon of Platonic Love, population: Sagacious Zu, every (non-Asari/Traynor) woman in Mass Effect, Kira Carsen, Gault Rennow, and Risha. 

 

put in there Sand too, even if he is not Bioware. (I know, I always talk about Sand. but he was my biggest delusion, with Varric in DA2, to a non romancable character)

For those who are into it, it would be great.  But I, and my characters, prefer to be in monogamous relationships.  I suspect one will need to be open to the idea of Bull still sleeping around, should they choose to romance him.

If Viv is a romance, it's possible she and Cullen are the race-gated. Cullen being race-gated would make more sense than a lot of them, considering his past biases.

 

But my hope is sinking like a stone, unfortunately.

About the Varric and Bianca possibility:

 

I would be good with a three-way relationship IF the couple you got with got  together recently. Like, if the couple is made out of two of the companions that just met each other. Varric and Bianca have WAY too much history for that to ever feel like a real or fair romance.

I wonder how much upset there would be if Cullen were gated agains Qunari. He certainly saw enough bad from them in Kirkwall, and while a Quinari Inquisitor would not have been part of that... might be hard to let something like that go?

Oh god don't say that. Funny, I would be open to ANY three-way relationship except with those two. It would just feel wrong.

 

It might explain the race gating for the last two characters.  Varric at least claims he doesn't go for humans.

 

In any event...  I want this to end so I know if my Quizzy is going for Solas or Cass.

Lol I know I'm taking this too seriously but my tolerance for shenanigans has just about hit zero at the moment. I wish they'd just tell us all of them and be done with it.
