woot kaidan 8D  i loved both kaidan and garrus although i must admit, by the time i got to romancing garrus, i still loved him, but more as a bro.  overtime, i think it just grew more platonic for me?  xD  i still love garrus to bits, it's just in a weird spot between platonic and romantic love.

 

solas' romance scenes, although just kisses, were the first in any game to just.....blow me away.  like, seriously make me melt.  even with all the other romances i did, like the millions of times i romanced anders, fenris, garrus, kaidan, alistair, dorian etc, they were really sweet and i loved them all in different ways.  but solas' kisses just bring it to the next level for me.  i don't know if that makes any sense xD

 

It's because everything looks so goddamn realistic.

I would just use google for those quests. I think they are dropped by specific mobs in specific places.

I'm doing that quest too. You find them all in the various areas of the exalted plains. I'm sorry, if I didn't have to leave for an appointment I would fire up the game and go look in my journal for you.

I thought there were supposed to be specific, guaranteed enemies/lootable chests/whatevers for each specialization so you don't have to spend time farming mobs? Try making a loop among the three areas marked in this map to get your Tomes:

Yep, been there. Killed the Venetori, and only one of them dropped a tome. Went into the Western Approach for a bit, came back nothing.

Oh Alistair...he was my first video game love. Sure..there were others I found attractive ..but Alistair captured my heart.  I'm actually playing DAO again right now (yay I got the disc working again), trying to do a Zevran romance since I've only playing through it once with him..it's always been so hard to resist Alistair.

 

But now...it's like..meh... Alistair is still a cutie...but he doesn't even come close to Solas.

 

I romanced Alistair and refused to let him do the DR with Morrigan (because, Hello, he's my man!) and when he sacrificed himself for me I sobbed soooo hard.

 

But after 3 full playthroughs of DA:I, I'll never go back to DA:O (although that might also have to do with the completing 7 playthroughs bit...)

I had same problem. I ended up having to go to the Hissing Wastes I think. Maybe Western Appproach, one of those two dropped the tomes. I apparently killed one of the Ventori groups before my trainer, so that bugged out in Exalted Plains. Other areas do drop them, promise.

I really think it was the Hissing wastes. I'm pretty sure I complained on here for three days about it before I finally found the last one I needed. I feel your pain.

I'm pretty sure a couple of the mages Cassandra has you kill can also drop Venatori tomes. I seem to recall them randomly dropping from random mages as well as actual Venatori enemies.

I typically found the tomes in the Exalted Plains and in the Hissing Wastes. I think about two or so were dropped in the Hissing Wastes and I found the other one in the Exalted Plains at that creepy ritual thing.
