Speaking of the Exalted Plains, has anyone managed to complete that ancient elvhen ritual underground? It is in the area of where you have to complete the operation to unlock a campsite and then you go close a new fade rift and go up a hill where the Colossus' Fist is laying.

The Deadman's Hand ..or something like that?  I did it...I found a youtube video and followed that. I don't remember what I got for finishing it though...guess it wasn't that great.

Yes, that's the Falon'Din / Dirthamen temple place. You need to use the tactical cam and have your people hold positions at certain areas and switch to each of them in order for them to interact with the levers/switches simultaneously.  You have to light up all four statues with the veilfire switch in order for the doors to open.  The "prize" for completing it is a few codex entries and a surprise hug from an arcane horror as you open a chest.

What now?

There is this elven temple in the Exalted Plains which you can only get to once you unlock that camp in the fens or whatever. You go down the hill to the fade rift and once you close it you can see a structure. So I went up there found a massive fist which was a landmark and stairs that descended into said temple. Then you get there and have to solve a rather difficult puzzle of firing magical arrows into orbs. I think my game glitched out so I never finished the ritual.

Ah okay, I was just wondering if there was some cryptic codex entry in the room behind the locked gate.

Yeah I got three orbs lit and then each time when I would try to get the last orb lit, the pillar would only keep going down on an orb I already had lit. I tried every option and that pillar still went down for the same orb, so I think mine glitched out. Thanks for telling me what was in there...that was weighing on mine since I read the translated elven codexes.

See I adore description and fleshing out my characters so my stories are naturally longer than some. Which means I always need to find some way to regain my creative juice...they really need to bottle that stuff up, it would be much easier to obtain that way.

Yep, been there. Killed the Venetori, and only one of them dropped a tome. Went into the Western Approach for a bit, came back nothing.
