99.9% certain this is Harvard (Havard, w/e. Andraste's disciple) carrying her ashes, NOT Shartan
Especially when Shartan is clearly the other character in blue.

Seriously, I wish there was a masterwork material that would allow you to override the look of the materials. Drakeskin (dragonskin? anyway, it's god-tier mats) would be so nice to use if it weren't a blinding orange.
For giving use the ability to customize armor and weapons,, you'd think colors would be seperate from stats

Lolololololololololololololol
"Oldest friend" is the term used. There are wolf statues in the Dirthamen temple too. Not to suggest that the relationship is anywhere near the same but Fen'Harel does seem to be represented whenever we see the other gods.
I don't think so. Unless there's something there that we haven't made a connection for. There are wolves and owls everywhere though.

I like how he's trying to give her a casual glance but Qunquisitor is so tall that he has to tilt his head and it looks 100% not-casual.
Do you guys ever have the struggle of choosing between function vs fashion when crafting clothes? It's like, I want to look good but I don't really need cold resistance.
The struggle is real. Solas wore that atrocious pladweave in my first romance scene because that was the best material I had then v.v

Same. And I have all the scenes recorded ._.
He looks kinda cute though, in a weird I-am-bad-at-picking-clothes-but-I-try kind of way.
Fashion vs function: I'm currently doing my Nightmare difficulty completionist run (and re-rolled my Solas-romancing Lavellan for it, since she may be my "canon" Inquisitor) and have to lean hard toward function during it. But after I finish this -- if I'm not burned out on playing the game -- I'm setting it to Casual and going fashion all the way.
So many sets of armor I never get to use at all, or get to use for a whole five minutes. Like the Warden armor.

I don't even preview neat sets on Solas anymore because I'll be sad. XD Someday I'll get to go on a full aesthetic run!
Fashion all the way, I think at one point I was using armor from 10 + levels ago because I hated the upgrade
Fashion. I used a masterwork for a rogue talent (when I was a bloody warrior) simply because I loved that blue. Lol.
Each of my inquisitors has a signature colour that I won't deviate from.
Hmm. I must have missed it.
I guess Solas could be lying, but with him I think it's all about what he doesn't say. Thats where the truth lies, in his omissions.
So, scratch them being pets.
Okay, we have the Elvish Pantheon, the Forbidden ones, said to be dark mirrors of the Elvish gods that we know basically nothing about, we have the old gods fromTevinter that seem similar to the Elvish Gods and share simlar iconography.
Then we have Andraste and the Maker and who even knows about that.
Don't forget about the Alamarri gods, whatever the Dwarves were worshiping pre-paragon days, and there's apparently a pan-theistic Rivaini religion.
The dwarven religion will probably be the most relevant, but who knows? The Alamarri are in the Anderfels so if we end up going there we could find out that literally everything in Thedas is connected.
Especially when Shartan is clearly the other character in blue.
In the other mural? I think that might be Maferath

I like to imagine Lavellan is the one that designs his robes and giggles madly whenever he's wearing plaid or velvet.
I also like the idea that she sewed little love-note patches over the holes in his apostate clothes and that he finds them after he's left and feels little pangs of sadness -- the jerk.

I feel your pain! This happened with me too! ;____;
I'm embarassed. I must be the only one in this thread who chooses function over fashion. Solas in my Lavellan playthrough looks like a carrot or a tangerine now in his bright orange battlemage armor.
I'll never use plaideweave again though... ![]()

Hehehe...
Seeing that makes off with some very good equipment I want him to feel at least a bit of heartache over it >_>
Since I'm doing a nightmare run currently and trying to complete as much as I can I've been choosing function over fashion. Thank goodness I had something decent for Solas in that first romance scene. As opposed to the first time when he was wearing that yellow plaid thing lol.

There are eight murals.
Since there's still confusion over this, spoilered for Andraste stuff that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Solas:
That first mural, the one with the harpy things flying, reminds me of this Inquisition concept art. Which is... an elven temple?

Its also possible that old Tevinter modeled itself, even the architecture, off of elven designs.
^
Pretty sure "Shartan" is Maferath, who was Andraste's general, as well as her mortal husband. He was also granted rulership the lands they conquered in return for betraying Andraste, so I think that's why he's holding that crown while she's being burned.

I'm deciding to pretend that's Arlathan and Solas is raising it out of the water. lol.

That could be! I based on the people who were listed as her disciples. I'll go change that in the description. Shartan may not appear for being an elf.
I redid the fade part with Kieran to see if I can find anything interesting, there's this

wtf
Some more fade weirdness...

Except Maferath in Origins was depicted as wearing a barbarian helmet and armor. It looks more like Shartan to me.

Like those "energize" areas in the game, heh.
I posted a shot of that statue pouring blood a few dozen pages back, too. I guess it's Mythal's murder. It has the same composition as the eluvian in the post-credits scene.

In the artbook, this picture is part of the What Pride Had Wrought section, so I think that's a concept for the Mythal Temple/Well of Sorrows.
After seeing that stabbed fade-dragon, I really do think that final mural is more about Mythal's betrayal than it is Solas's plan to kill her.
