I have kind given up on Solas being a LI after his interview. Referring to him as an introvert and his desire to be alone and all. I kinda girded myself against hope for Solas. But after Gareth David-Lloyd's announcement... I might be like to cry now.

Yeah I was alright before but I think his VA made us all much more certain that he'd be a LI. Having all that hope kind of crash is what has the thread like this, I think. Before yesterday, none of us would have been all that surprised.

 

Ugh, trying to stay positive. He'll still be awesome if he isn't a LI, he'll still be awesome if he isn't a LI. Oh it's like Joker all over again!

This thread and sharing the pain with you guys is the only reason why I'm keeping my sanity regarding all of this lol I just don't see Blackwall as an LI though it makes me suspicious as to why they'd reply to an ask about him with "soon..." when a bunch of people were asking about Solas; and I REALLY hope they don't pull another Thane with Varric and his Bianca deal...that would feel like a cop-out romance, imo. I used to really want him as a romance but if he is one, he'll very likely be race gated to dwarves and I'd much rather Solas. Solas is really the only option that I'd really go for so this is pretty agonizing! I wanna ask Weekes on twitter despite the fact I won't get a reply, but I don't wanna bother them either. Thanks to the brave soul who sent one in anyway!

I don't see Solas as race-gated, though Cullen I could see as race-gated. I don't think dwarves would be excluded, because a dwarf with no connection to the fade yet has a fade mark on their hand is interesting. If anything he might pay special attention towards the dwarf-inquisitor. We don't know if the last two are race-gated, it's possible but it's also possible for them not to be. So everybody keep the faith  (Also I'm a bit biased towards the whole dwarf thing because I planned on playing a dwarf and romancing Solas).

Yeah, because Vivienne is almost certainly the last female LI... At least... I would be surprised if she WASN'T. Cole is out and Varric is another I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't again.

 

Between Solas and Blackwall... well... I kinda would want Blackwall because the older LI isn't something we've seen and it intrigues me. ((Still bitter that Canderous or Zaaed were not options))

The thing is that I really was prepared for him not to be an LI before yesterday, but after revealing his VA...

I just think that was really cruel to announce Solas' VA, who happens to be an extremely swoon-worthy, fan-favourite who also happens to be well known for playing a bisexual character, the day before our hopes were crushed...I mean talk about timing

I mean, after that announcement, people we all saying how he was almost certainly an LI and were squealing and getting really excited and happy...only to drop this one us...I guess the devs really need those fan tear *cries*

This is what I don't understaaaaaaand! I swear none of the other threads have been on the same rollercoaster ride of emotions as we have.  It's like we keep having it dangled in front of our faces and then whipped away again 

 

EDIT: i know the Cullenites and Varricmancers have had it bad for ages, but....*whimper*
