And I agree, Sable- I think it underscores part of the same sentiment Cole picks up in this:
Though he might also be referencing Cole's ability to "wash clean" of hurt/pain, since Cole prompts him with a reminder that he has the option to "let them go". He won't, but he can.
@ Sandal
What's worse is that he was suppose to be a court, and we didn't see him. DX
How I got that conversation:
My Trev'Quisitor has high approval with Solas. I actually think it's maxxed. I am about to do What Pride Had Wrought. He had a dialogue option for asking him about the Elves. Eventually I got to ask him about Sera. Hope that helps for anyone that would like to have this dialogue trigger for them in game.

Thanks. I haven't gotten that far with Adaar. It looks like his "elf" conversation is just different if you're Dalish; it takes place at the beginning of the game and is more of a lore dump, whereas if you're not Dalish, it takes longer for him to talk to you about the elves.
Blighted, mindless, lyrium slaves beneath a Sun icon?
....yeah. I think that previous theory just turned into law in my mind. This is the thing that's trying to insert itself into the Chant as the Andrastean Maker, drew the ancient Tevinter priests to the City as "Dumat", and is the creator/source of the blight. Now if I could just decide whether Elgar'nan fought the Sun, or is the Sun.
Going with unnamed pre-Panthon entity for now. Hmm.
help I am never going to catch up, if you guys keep posting crazy awesome things like this
Not a fluff or smutt, but it has Solas making snarky comments. XD Quite a laugh.

"So, ultimately, what we need for the next game is more unhealthy relationships?" "Pretty much." #ReasonsWhyILoveTheWriters
You know, I finally listened to the Weekes interview today during work and it had me thinking. I know he says they made the Solas romance to make it sad. But maybe that's not a bad thing, right? Here me out...maybe the Solas romance was made sad because THE ENTIRE GAME ITSELF needed to be more sad. I mean, when I thought about my Cullen playthrough, everything was super happy pretty much all the time. Even all the big battles and stuff up to the final Corypheus face off...well they all go pretty perfectly for the inquisitor. She/he pretty much always wins, always beats Corypheus to the punch, and at no time does the Inquisitor ever really suffer any serious losses. I mean, even Hawke suffered losses (sister/brother and mother). And from the first ME game, Shepard was suffering losses left and right...man I never felt like my companions were 100% safe in those games. But in DAI, it's pretty much all wins...so much so that it sometimes feels a little toooo easy, like in the sense that when something is too easy then it means that something terrible you'll never expect will probably happen very soon. So, maybe the Solasmance was made tragic in this game to give a sense of loss to at least one kind of Inquisitor...
So, why is it not a bad thing? Well, maybe because us Solasmancers got the loss in DAI and in the DLC we'll get the happiness, because why continue to dump that loss on just one female elf inquisitor? That would get kind of boring, and especially for players who never rolled that character. Why not spread that heartache around to the other characters in the DLC? That would certainly make things more interesting. Cullen's romance is so Disney sweet...imagine if it all came crashing down in the DLC!? HEADS WOULD ROLL! That's where Gaider's statement here kind of fits into my thinking. Maybe there are just piles of heartache and dysfunction headed our way, but maybe, just maybe, it's headed for everyone else BUT the Solasmancers.
My warped and twisted thinking makes it easy for me to fly that Team Optimism flag man, I swear I'll keep waving it when I'm lying dead in my grave with worms eating my eyeballs. AT LEAST SOMEONE'S GETTING A MEAL OUT OF THIS.
people can hate all they want, but you don't rack up game of the year awards, choice awards, and multiple high scores if you're a terrible game..
One of the devs tweeted the other day that the most recent count was 85.

So does Solas have any romance-related battle cries???? Like, how in DA2 the love interests had romance-specific battle dialogue when Hawke got hurt. I know Blackwall has some comments that are romance-related... I hope Solas does :3
Doesn't say the Elf thing My Heart? Ma Vahsomething
I'm going to take a wild guess that the "unhealthy relationship" comment is for the Bull/Dorian situation. Which, from what I gather, is not entirely healthy for either party? They never did hook up in my game, so I'm not sure how that went.
Yeah, he screams out "Ma'Vhenan!" when you fall in battle.
THANK GOODNESS WHEW I was worried he was forgotten ahahaha... Oooh can anyone do a voice clip of that???

Eh, Solas/Lavellan, Inquisitor/Blackwall also both seem a bit unhealthy...Haven't done the full Iron Bull one yet, but I've seen some people claim its unhealthy.
My cannon Warden, Hawke, and Lavellan romanced Alistair, Anders, and Solas, and I wouldn't claim any of them are healthy relationships.

There was questions of consent between the two and respecting boundaries. That's what I gathered.
So is Garrus the only healthy relationship from Bioware?

There are plenty of healthy ones. O.o
**And it could be argued sexing a species that's potentially poisonous to you to kill you, and visa versa.
I don't know if it's been mentioned (I can't keep up!) but there's a codex entry from the temple of Mythal, it's one of the untranslatable texts that you can read after drinking from the well, that reminds me of that image that keeps popping up with the elves with red lyrium blight (or whatev's)

But I have no idea what any of this means. It might just be an eclipse or the sun. *shrug*
