This bothers me too but I rationalize it that the experience is far more focused and real than she's experienced before. Solas says the same thing, and he's Mr. Fade. Her control over the Fade- a kind of somniari status- is showing IMO. But it's still new for her and Solas is helping shape the experience, so it throws her a bit.Yeah, they don't realize it until Solas asks them "where do you think we are?".
What bugged me was that only a few hours prior I did the time travel quest with Dorian and afterwards when I talked with Solas he asked if I was sure it wasn't just the Fade and I was like " Um, I'm a mage. I think I would realize if i t was the Fade Solas!" And he approves of that answer. Now skip ahead a few hours and here I am completely oblivious to the fact I'm there. It was definitely weird. Especially for a mage Inquisitor. I can understand dwarf Inquisitors not realizing it (not something they're used to) and I can even understand non-mage Inquisitors (since it's somewhat dreamlike) but really mages? Really?
And you could say Lavellan was blinded by love, but what about everyone else!? Trevelyan, Adaar, I thought you better than this!
Dat Fade Tongue, too.
