Romance is a go with Solas. He turns out to be the big bad. What do you foresee in happening with the romance if this scenario were to happen?

 

I dunno, but I have wanted a villain LI for some time now.

I can understand the reservations based on the trope.  Although it's also an avenue to explore The Iron Bull's heritage I think.  Though I'll not distract this particular thread any longer.

 

 

(I will say that I hope that people not do anything *unhealthy* hoping for information on Mr. Solas!  I like enthusiasm, but make sure you're all still eating, going to the bathroom, sleeping, etc. etc. )

 

Actually, manning the front desk at the ER dept and keeping up with the DA news during slow spurts. I think my sanity is the only thing at risk, but that's likely working a saturday night during a full moon.

I'm just really worried we'll get Varric as a hetero LI. I really, really was hoping this would be the game where LIs were distributed fairly. I was so optimistic for a while, too. I hope they tell us soon. The anticipation is not fun anymore...

Unhealthy? I'm already drinking a Mike's Hard lemonade and eating donuts! ( I usually don't drink but this has gotten me a bit stressed out)

Oh, No! Out of likes again. Solas thread, what you do to me! Thanks for stopping by, Allen. And good advise, btw. This is just a game. Those of you who have been up half the night should get some sleep. Not that I won't skip a few hours of shut eye after release, but sleep is important and RL trumps games. Just say'n.

I do think Chris Priestly's statement about our bald elf is vastly interesting. Maybe he is the one character that we have to keep or the demons win? So many possibilities......

I really hope it's Solas and he is bisexual.  Gated against maybe dwarves.

 

I'm not on board with the folks who say he should be gated against elves.  While interesting, it would be pretty harsh against those who play elves and want an elven LI.  Also, I can't really think of any story reasons for it--just because he does not want to be seen as "just an elf," doesn't mean he hates other elves.  Only that he wants to be seen as a person first.  But to be gated against dwarves (and possibly qunari) makes more sense, because of his connection to the Fade.  Even though the Inquisitor has the shiny hand, and can physically enter the Fade apparently, maybe he'd only be able to romance someone who understands what it is to dream.  Or maybe at least some of his romance plays out in dreams, assuming he can be romanced.

 

Edited to add:  I guess what I'm saying is if he's romanceable, maybe he really is the man of the Inquisitor's dreams.  Literally.

That would be interesting!Not referring particularly to Solas,but Speaking of the big bad,I'd like a scenario where he/she is someone you can relate to for some reason,not necessarily a romantic one.
It will bring up interesting dilemmas for your the pc,while at the same time being a pleasant variation from your typical evil villain.
