That would be interesting!Not referring particularly to Solas,but Speaking of the big bad,I'd like a scenario where he/she is someone you can relate to for some reason,not necessarily a romantic one.
It will bring up interesting dilemmas for your the pc,while at the same time being a pleasant variation from your typical evil villain.

The non-gated IB thing is throwing me off, but I guess I'm going to revert back to my previous outlook of staying optimistic until the option is officially off the table. Solas could still be ungated and bi like we originally guessed, even. It could be someone already announced that's gated. Right now things are really confusing. I'm just going to stay hopeful and see what happens.

Honestly, I think it'd make sense if Dorian were gated, because of the Tevinter/Qunari conflict.  Possibly Cullen, though.  Really, with Thedas' view on Qunari in general, I wouldn't be surprised if anyone in the party were against a Qun!Inq

Well, but he may not actually be a "bad guy." The devs are tricksy that way.

Cullen has said really racist things about Qunari and dwarves and he doesn't like Dalish, so he could easily be gated. It might even be something related to someone's background that we couldn't predict based on what we know, though. Or, as some have suggested, maybe someone just has an aesthetic preference and it's never more than that.

I've been theorizing for months that Solas might be working for big bad, so I'm down with the idea already.  I'm okay with the angst train, I just wanna know if I can ride it.  

 

But really, Solas could be very interesting for many reasons, he isn't necessarily going to betray us.

If he's working for the big bad, maybe we can turn him for good? He sees how bad it is. Or the evil players who want to destroy Thedas can have a grand time demolishing the world with Solas.
