All of this, if your mind is going the way mine is going, is very complicated. Perhaps TOO complicated.
I hate to be that person, but I have my doubts about this game being able to pull this kind of thing off very effectively. The order that may not be so orderly and the chaos that may not be so chaotic, to those with the right goals and mindsets. It would be awesome but a tall, tall order for a video game.
It's like... I can see this being done in television series because it has been done, but video games? Hrm... like... the only thing that comes to mind at this very instant, that had a complicated story where I wasn't sure if the 'right thing' was the 'right thing', was The Wolf Among Us. But that's a more structured choose your own adventure. I'll stop with that now since this is a Bioware forum and not Telltale, but I guess that's the only game that comes to mind that pulled off a 'complicated' story well, in my mind at least. So it's possible. Anyway, I can't say much now. A judgement call will have to be made later. But, yes, I think we are on the same wavelength.
If we are to go with the theory that Solas may align with chaos, certainly others would have to do so as well. (He couldn't be the only companion, right?) I'm interested to see who else might be convinced otherwise.
