The issue with the Flemythal betrayal is the way she says it, "I was betrayed, as she was betrayed, as the world was betrayed."

That expands the definition and methods of betrayal to a scale that is significantly harder to pin down.

No, I think I've got it.   Not "the world" as we would usually think of it, but the pre-veil entity that the Dalish refer to as the Earth.  Flemythal is literally referring to three of the significant instances of the Wife-Husband-Lover betrayal pattern that exist in Thedas' history, and using that as an example.  

 

Mythal was betrayed, as Flemyth was betrayed, as the Earth was betrayed.

 

Plus an obvious fourth in Andraste, but there's no need to break rhetorical flow just to squeeze her in there.  What I'm hesitant about is whether we're really intended to insert the Mythal-entity into each. That seems to be the implication, but... man, that really puts a wrench in what I thought I knew about the pre-veil world.   Though I suppose it makes other things, like her status as Mother, and dragon form, and her early, suspicious human-ness suddenly... make a lot more sense.

Thank you so much! I actually have it for PS3 too.. I have it both for my computer and PS3. I bought new graphics card for christmas to be able to play and record on computer.

But the big difference for me - and it gives me chills - I completely hear "Go to the Warden"

 

Though everyone's Warden may not be alive, it technically doesn't mean there won't be a warden somewhere trying to figure out how to end the calling.

 

I hear "go to the water", but then, if it's really followed by "bound to the same fate"...  hmm. 

 

Also, the "she is all in us" I'm hearing has some pretty obvious implications, if Mythal really is the Earth.  

 

Gahhh, I wish I could untangle that bit.  I still can't tell if it's a misdirect.

It's possible I suppose, but for a while I feel like I've been waiting for Flemeth to pass her role onto Morrigan, I always thought that would end up happening.  We just have to wait and see, and have hope, and wave banners of optimism as much as we can...

I'm not sure.. I went to the templars in this playthrough so I got massive approval from Cole for letting him stay in Heaven.

 

Also getting Dorian's personal quest when you side with the templars is a HUGE pain the butt

I'm afraid if I did someone would force me into therapy. I don't really cry when I see breakup scenes but I do immediately look at pictures of baby animals right after.

I never had that and I always go Mages, so I guess it's different depending on that.  I'm not planning to go the Templar route for a while, but I'm sure we can confirm either way.

Maybe you only get this line if you side with templars? I sided with mages, got the "You reach across, mindful..." line. I don't know. It's confusing.

I hate siding with the templars. I did it once and I found it very clunky. I do really enjoy the mage one more and I've done it so many times at this point I could do it with my eyes closed. But I do love Dorian so maybe that's why I prefer it.

It looks like it's dependent on which way you go with the the questline.  I got the middle as have others who went the Mage route.  Those that went the Templar route got the blood one..
