I feel like she had to know a vote for independence would lead to war. Like it would be absolutely inconceivable for anyone to think the Templars and the Chantry would be like "oh, you want to be free? Ok, yea go do that have fun!". In this case vote for independence = vote for war. It might feel better to not think of it that way, but it was the reality of the situation.

 

The White Spire was already headed for a meltdown, especially thanks to Adrian.  Circles elsewhere in Thedas were being anulled.  Attempting a lawful independence for the Circles was better than the alternative.  They didn't even get to vote because of templar intervention.  By the time the vote was achieved, the templars were coming to kill them, there wasn't much choice.

Ohhhh! Guys! What if - like Cole states - they are unable to dream because their cord had been cut - what if that had been done out of necessity? What if they had stumbled upon the Blight first? It was the only way to cut themselves off from the taint and corruption! If one of them got infected, the whole Titan did!

 

This actually makes a lot of sense. We know that becoming possessed and 'exorcised' removes the Blight and any chance of contracting it again. (Fiona, the Seekers).

 

I do not understand why, though.

 

If the option to 'synthesise' people with Fade denizens to avoid Blight pops up in future games, I'm going to-

Okay, I've been listening to this on repeat and different volumes this morning.

 

I'm pretty much in agreement with what is being said, though at first it sounded like "She was the Last", it really does sound like "She saw the Lost". Or at the very least the last word is very close to Lost

 

But the big difference for me - and it gives me chills - I completely hear "Go to the Warden"

 

Though everyone's Warden may not be alive, it technically doesn't mean there won't be a warden somewhere trying to figure out how to end the calling.

 

Can you tell me the exact second you hear this so I can add an annotation and hear it myself?

I just get amused seeing him with hair sometimes, though I do enjoy seeing artworks based on his concept art version. But bald Solas is definitely the best Solas.
