He's so good-looking to me, my gosh. My family thinks he's ugly and they mention it whenever I'm playing and they walk past but I just....I'm into it. I can't explain it to them.

He definitely has some intense eyes! And you could cut yourself on those ears.

More for us, then. :D

Is it possible to - with careful plotting - romance Blackwall *shudder*, have him dump you, then romance Solas and have him break up with you?

I'm trying a hopeless Lavellan playthrough, and unless the game locks me out I think it's possible to pull this off as long as I start romancing Blackwall after the Fade incident, avoid Solas until after 'Wicked Eyes, Wicked Heart', exile the Wardens and put Gaspard on the throne, set Thom Rainier free, start talking with Solas...

I sure hope the Keep recognises such events, though. I'm not going through all these heartbreaks just for science.

I'm doubtful that the Keep will recognize more than one romance per game honestly.

As it is the keep only recognizes one romance, so I think its safe to say that trend will continue.

[Except some side things like the dark ritual, or the baby from the dwarf noble starting area.]

Rremember how in DA2 you could have scenes that showcased the jealousy of the character you were romancing? Is that possible with DA:I romances? Or have we all been 100% faithful to Solas the entire time?

I'm probably a masochist.

I am pretty sure if you flirt with Blackwall it locks you out of the Solas romance. I have no empirical evidence to back up my theory though.

Plus, Solas would probably just say something like "He can offer you a lot more, blabla, he is healthier for you, it's for the best", and just being all stoic like he is.

I don't believe there's any jealousy in this game. The closest you get is that one of the dialogues with Sera implies that Solas is attracted to or in love with female Lavellan regardless of her romantic interest in him.

You can have multiple romances by breaking up with the first partner, and pursuing the other. If you try to grab both, the 'new' romance will say something like: "You're interested in me? You'd better tell ___ first," to lock you out.

I've read that flirting with Blackwall on the battlements pretty much locks you on his romance path but that you can go and break up with him before completing the romance and start another one. All romances have a point of no return where you are locked to that character for the rest of the game, which is another reason I think the Keep will probably only recognize the completed romance for each playthrough.

Every time I listen to the full party banter between Cole and Solas my mind explodes. This is the 3rd time i've listened to them and it makes me think so hard in so many different directs I have to stop.

I downloaded all the files and put them on my phone so i could listen while working. But this **** is too much at once.

It's a little sad that more than one romance is not something we can put in the Keep, as it was nice to have those little callbacks in DA2 such as if the Warden or Leliana had slept with Isabela in Origins. I suppose it's difficult to get the plot flags working correctly for who the "true" romance was, and it's hardly relevant to anything that happens in Inquisition, but it's still nice to have those little bits of continuity when they appear?

(As it was, it was a major shame that Hawke never had any dialogue with Leliana or Cassandra that we saw, major missed opportunity there)

Andruil's great hunt was depicted as a slave hunt in some fanfics. If things were really that bad in Arlathan, I can't blame Solas for sealing the gods away. There is still slavery in Tevinter thought. Maybe part of his next plan is to free the slaves there.

A lot of the fan fiction writers are making Andruil a heartless b****. I think the fandom hasn't forgiven her for the "tied Solas to a tree incidents". :D
I hope she doesn't turn out to be " muuahahahaha" evil. Maybe just arrogant (she was considered a goddess) and a bit blood thirsty (goddess of hunt). Of course the Void making her crazy is pretty awesome. So, maybe that changed her to " muuahahahaha" evil and she was just iffy, morally, before then. I really like Artemis from Greek myth so I'm backing Andruil up until she proves to be out of her mind!

What might pose problem is the fade kiss, since its essential for the Solas romance to happen but Im not sure youd get the option if youre romancing someone else at that time.

I know its possible to do Solas > Cullen, but not Cullen> Solas unless thers some trick for it back at Haven.

Damn it, I ran out of likes...

Holding a long shaft of wood with a rounded end, at crotch level... you're not even trying to be subtle now, are you, Solas?

Yeah, there's something about him that makes him attractive as hell; that look he gives, the sexy voice and accent, his intelligence and restraint...

It available to the Inquisitor after you recruit him. First you have to go through a number of dialog choices asking him about how his mind works. You then ask him about the comments he makes about your companions. You can then ask him what he sees when he focuses on you. That line follows the "You're too... bright. Like looking at birds behind the sun. The mark made you more, but beyond that..." ( I THINK I got that right. My earliest Skyhold save is unfortunately directly after I had that conversation.)

I was wrong! I was not wrong! Just said to non-mages Lavellans.

I got that as well and I have a video for it...long time lurker here. Love all the theories! Keep putting off the end of Solas romance because I know it will hurt. Starts around 0.17!

Iron Bull has some dialogue if you romanced him and then went with someone else, but he's a total bro about it to the Inquisitor's new flame.

Congratulations on hitting two thousand! *waves party flag*

I'm fashionably late.

So, a funny thing happened with the timeline.

It, um, appears my finger may have slipped on a key around the time of the great Tevinter Civil Wars.

So, er, the First Blight and everything after it may be six hundred years off.

I'm sure this kind of thing happens all the time.

My computer and Internet are on the fritz at the moment, but when I manage to fix it, I'll just...I'll just send that one in and hope I didn't make any more mistakes.  ^_^

Also.

Cole's comments seem like very good evidence for the lyrium being the blood of the dwarves/Titans, and their being connected to them formerly.

The Profane's comments about 'we devoured the gods' makes more sense.

I have no attraction whatsoever toward Blackwall, so I'm pursuing this merely for story purposes and curiosity. Has anyone tried it here? Is it worth it?

(I'm asking this here because the Blackwall thread would undoubtedly reply with a 'Yes!'.)

Speaking of the Fade cutscene - I wish we could have more visits there, especially if the Inquisitor is in a relationship with Solas. I remember hearing about visits in the Fade prior to playing the game and looking forward to the wonders we could discover. But then we got just Haven.

What? I didn't know about this. When does this happen?

Yeah, I don't know how she is like in the game, but after reading some of the fanfics, I really really hate her. They've done a good job of describing cruelty.

I tried to find it and failed. I'm sure a Sera fan here can hook you up though!

It is an ambient dialogue after you have started a romance with Sera. I am paraphrasing, but it goes something like Solas commenting [favorably] on the relationship, in which Sera replies something like: 'Fancy her, do you?' He doesn't respond to her, and just continues to say that she [Sera] made the natural choice.

I just took that as her teasing. In my opinion, she was just being flippant. It's like when a friend and I were laughing over a joke his best friend said we were a good couple and then I replied that I wouldn't come between their relationship, no need to be jealous. I think she would of said that to Solas if he asked about her relationship no matter who she was romancing.

I think she's definitely teasing- but Sera does seem to be very quick to pick up on odd things. I don't think it was meant to imply he was horribly jealous or heartbroken or anything. He supports the relationship. But I do think Sera picked up that he might have liked Lavellan.
