I like the way he pronounces Vivienne :0
Hmmm that voice. I'd sell off my niece for him to shout my name! ;D (they'd probably give her back, she's a menace)
He only has one cry for Cassandra...she's a bad**s and never goes down!
And none for I.B. either, same reason!

He says 'Bull is in danger' but it doesn't seem to be part of that compilation.

Yup, it's bugged.  It only exists in our myths and legends until whenever it gets fixed (hopefully).

I was looking at the Prima guide again about this, and it says that "What Lies Dormant" will point to a really hard rift near the farmlands in the Hinterlands.  I'm thinking that this quest was changed, because that rift is there -- the really hard one that you can use the druffalo to complete.

In any case, I'm hoping that that's the case now, because I'm really sick of having to wait a year or more to play a game the way it was meant to be played because EA rushed it out the door.

On a related note I noticed last night my character yells "Solas is in danger" but he's always barely has any damage when she says it, which is sort of funny. A bit overprotective ;)

So Varric's the maker then, right? He wrote everything?

He is the writer insert. He makes a lot of meta commentary lines that only make sense when looking back. He told Sera to be careful about romancing the lead, because the writer likes to make them hurt to see how they react.

My character always yells that or a really paniced 'someone help Blackwall!' when Blackwall is at full health.

Wow I love the idea he's going to the void! that certainly explain a lot about cole's post-game banter

I've once headcannon he might planned to approach and constrain some kind of curse within himself for greater good ( inspired by NWN2 MOB

My headcanon has him expending so much energy to correct his mistake he falls into uthenera... then Lavellan says **** it and because she'sLavellan, has the anchor and drank from the well just straight up follows him there too and become the first modern elf ever to attempt utenera... Then they both walk the fade happily ever after :-P

I suspect the quest is very low content, so I'm not too concerned about it.  Probably along the lines of the "kill these randoms and look for that" personal quests some of the other companions have.  But I wish it were fixed anyway.  Interesting that it's possibly connected to the farm/waterfall rift since that can be done without the quest.  Hm.

It may get patched in.  Weekes was saying on Twitter they're thinking of adding in dialouge (he was asked about the Clan Lavellan war table chain and why there's no reaction to it).

For those against an unrealistically happy ending, I think we're safe here. In the history of DA games, BioWare has NEVER given us perfectly happy endings. There's always some bittersweet mitigating factor, or there becomes one in future games.

Just look at DAO romances. If the Warden survives DAO (by letting Morrigan perform a sinister ritual for unknown reasons), at best s/he is still committed with his/her beloved, but they can't physically be together right now. The Warden goes to the uncharted Wests while:

Morrigan is in Celene's court with their son.
Leliana is working with Cassandra for Divine Justinia V, then the Inquisitor.
Zevran is going around hunting down and disbanding the Antivan Crows.
Alistair is either dealing with Corypheus' Calling as a Warden, or running Ferelden without her help (as mistress or queen) as King.

Look at DA2:

Hasn't Hawke been on the run for years, and broke up with his/her beloved to keep him/her safe? Then can die over DAI--although I don't know what happens if Hawke lives.

Perfect pretty-with-a-bow happy ending is not gonna happen. I would just settle for "not tragic" or "not completely heartbreaking."

If Hawke lives then she vanishes when the Wardens break off contact with the rest of the world.  And Hawke is still a couple with her LI, she just can't be with them right now.  I assumed the seperation was a recent thing.

EDIT: The same thing happens to Alistair if he comes out of the Fade, meaning that the Warden will never get a happy ending with Alistair if he remained a Warden as he either dies in the Fade or vanishes.

I've got a letter from my Warden who romanced Zevran, and it implies they are together. As in, not separated.

Edit: top of the page Solas.

Most of the Convo's imply that the Warden/Hawke are recently seperated from their LI and plan to meet up at a future date.

Well, let's not say NEVER.  The thing with the Wardens hasn't been resolved at the end of DA:I, yet another dangling plot thread for DLC or maybe DA4.  Besides, characters vanish and then reappear all the time in Thedas.

On a more selfish note, I romanced Warden!Alistair, Anders, and Solas.  My Hawke is dead, Solas has all the ominous foreshadowing, so goddamnit I would like at least one of my canon DA couples to get a happy ending   I really know how to pick 'em.  At least I went with Garrus for ME.

To be fair, they don't say where or how he "vanishes." Wherever he vanishes to he could possibly rejoin his love in the future, assuming one or both of them doesn't die.

But I doubt it. Whatever the Warden is up to can also result in death or being lost to this world, so either way, no unambiguously happy ending.

Alistair, Fenris and Solas.

One (possibly) dead, one going to not deal in a good way with his girlfriend vanishing and one run off to do something stupid.
