Those beds are way too big for Lavellan on her own, after all

They sleep together - I NEED THIS TO BE TRUE. I waffle on whether or not they have sex mostly because I don't really care.  But he's so desperate for affection and for contact I 100% believe that he sleeps with her every night. Until he leaves...*gross sobbing*.

Careful if you have any romance scenes in your room. The curtained bed will glich out your scene and all you'll see is a red canopy in front of the camera.

The Solas romance doesn't have to worry about that... silver linings.

Indeed! ;)

She has an actual bedroom though. You can hear her and Cole talk about it in a banter.

Maybe she considers that to be her bedroom.  It's got all her books and everything.  She has a lot of her personal scenes up there too.

Does he not sleep on his little couch?

I've missed out on Serault glass apparently! I'll go load Eavan and see how it looks.

Perhaps in some playthroughs.  Maybe for naps, of which there are likely many.

I went for the Orelsian bed. The second one? With the sheets sorta dragging on the floor a bit?

It seemed the most fitting for my elf, but I don't really know why.

Not that I went all that much for fitting with my Tevinter theme'd Skyhold.

I have no idea where your companions are supposed to sleep. Does Dorian just sleep in his library chair? Varric at that table? Bull just passes out drunk in the tavern? Blackwall on hay? The Inquisitor has a huge room with a fancy bed and his poor companions are forced to sleep on the floor

By the way guys, is it bad that I can quote, word for word that after credit scene? That's totally normal, right? RIGHT!?

Esp after that awful break-up scene.... :(

Haha. That would be awkward. If you assume they were sharing the room for at least a little while, presumably he would have surrendered the old room he had. Now it is back to peasant quarters and/or sleeping in the barn with Blackwall.

I guess I am not recalling any bedrooms in upper wings?  I ran around extensively...the layout for living quarters is kinda wierd.  Not sure where Josephine or Dorian sleep either.

If you run out the door on the far side of Vivianne's area there are 4-6 rooms out there. One of them has a sad note in it too :( There were some others somewhere I found as well but I don't remember where exactly.

But if he isn't romancing your Inquisitor where is he sleeping? D:

Right beneath wherever Dorian sleeps, so my Lavellan's bestie can stomp around and send little showers of dust flying down on Solas's stupid bald head

I like the way he pronounces Vivienne :0
Hmmm that voice. I'd sell off my niece for him to shout my name! ;D (they'd probably give her back, she's a menace)
He only has one cry for Cassandra...she's a bad**s and never goes down!
And none for I.B. either, same reason!

They also left out the cries for a fallen inquisitor. I've been looking for the "Ma Vhenan!" Clip. I went ahead and sent a request. :)

I honestly can't remember how to get to them. They are attached to the outside walkway, I believe by the garden. I think one of them is where Iron Bull's romance scene takes place?

Come on Lavellan. It's taken you 90 hours to start asking that question?
It's a bit like when they get to Skyhold and everyone is all just 'Gee whizz, it's sure good that Solas happens to know about this place. He sure has an astounding amount of knowledge on all things ancient and elven for a small town boy. I guess the Fade teaches him a lot'

I'm starting to think you are all much smarter than me... So, when I imagine I were my Lavellan... I meet that guy, looks just like your ordinary monk from next door, tells me he's travelled the Fade and seen the most curious things, studied a lot, went many different places... never really had many friends, too, thus having a lot of time for doing all that... discussed with demons and spirits, just sucking up every bit of knowledge he could possibly come across. Never heard of such people before, but then again, I have also never met a movie star or a Roman legionnaire and still know they exist(ed). Now, that guy has seen that orb somewhere, it is Elven, old, somehow magical. Much more he does not know though. It must have been what opened the breach, because what else could have had such power? And so on and so on, Skyhold, blah.
So, honestly, my first thought would not be "Gosh, he must be an Old God!" I might rather think "Kind of nerdy... damn, I wish I had such knowledge. Certainly impressive at every party or game show". My boyfriend can tell me a lot of things each day that I did not know, simply because I never cared to learn about them while he did. But it has never occurred to me that he might be an Old.... wait.

Seriously, was I really the only one who had been surprised by the ending after the first playthrough? Did you all see that coming?

Does Solas say anything after you bring him to the fade?.. Because in my playthrough all the Companions I brought with me commented on it, but Solas just does that stupid silent-treatment until the Temple of Mythal quest. I thought it was kinda weird, since he was spazzing out going "omg im here physicalllyyy" but then nothing at the Hold. Which bothered me, I figured It was because I hadn't done What Lies Dormant, but then I found out it's bugged as hell.

That really frustrated me greatly. Then the scene between him and Cole triggered about making him more of a spirit or not, and I figured that counts as his post-main-quest scene... still disappointing as hell, but it was *something*...

I honestly don't understand why there was no fade specific follow-up. I don't buy that it was to not give anything away. They could have used that scene for more cryptic hints. Would it have killed Bioware to maybe give people a tiny tiny romantic gesture after such an experience?! The Solas romance has so little of that, I would have been happy with him saying briefly but excitedly that being physically in the fade was amazing, and then just have Lavellan smile and affectionately touch his cheek for a split-second before wandering off...

I was so annoyed with the lack of interaction by that time that I almost chatted up Cullen to comfort me *g*

There are probably a lot of bedchambers around Skyhold that the player just doesn't physically see in the game.

I mean, where do you think all the other NPC's sleep?

I really like that Orlesian bed with the messy sheets, but it bugs me how some of the beds don't have pillows.  I'm weird about needing there to be pillows, lol.

I kinda did see it coming, more or less, but my Lavellan doesn't see it.  She isn't viewing this from a player or fan perspective.  I believe she suspects something, but she doesn't know what.  She doesn't think he's an ancient elf, and certainly not a god.  She feels there's something very wrong he won't tell her, and she thinks he's in some kind of trouble, which is part of why she continues to search for him.  But she's mostly grounded on how she views Solas, despite it all.

I don't have the actual dialogue but I'm pretty sure she says something along the lines of "Cole, how many times have I told you to stay out of my quarters." She is a Nevarran princess, even if she doesn't like it, I'm sure Josephine gave her actual quarters (similar to the Inquisitor's). Maybe she just doesn't like it there?

Edit: She says:"Stop going into my quarters. How many times must I tell you?"

Well, Sera has a room, Cullen has a room, there is a random Room near Cole, Cassandra has a Bedroll, Blackwall has the Barn, Viv has a bedroom...and so on.

I assume all the others sleep in a big pile....for warmth? xD

The room near Cole is Bull's, if a certain scene is to be believed.

I assume he's sleeping in the Inquisitor's chambers, of course. ;)

Serault glass is my favorite, I eventually changed it for the sake of Dalish-yness, but it's so pretty.

Haha, same here. I switched to Dalish glass but it never grew on me like the Serault glass did, so... I had imagined the Dalish to be some magnificently organic goddess-y vines and stags and wolves and stuff - compared to that I was kind of disappointed. I like the color, buuut Serault glass! It just so would have set the mood... *sniff*

I support this motion. All the other love interest fear the idea of the Inquisitor drinking from the Well because the consequences are unknown. Solas is the only one who actually  knows what is going to happen. Judging from his reaction back at Skyhold, I think it's better not to drink from the Well.

How exactly does he react? I opted for not drinking in my first PT and I'm still too far in others. I presume there is a difference between if he's your LI or not, too? Taking into consideration, of course, that I never got an argument out of him for supporting the Wardens, either, despite his disapproval. Apparently he was supposed to chastise me on that choice at least.

I'm starting to think you are all much smarter than me... So, when I imagine I were my Lavellan... I didn't see it coming! I went into lockdown the moment I read that Solas has some secret, I knew that much. I started speculating but I stopped reading forums and anything even mildly related to DAI until I played it out, so it was a surprise for me. I was suspicious in the very beginning, but then again I can totally relate to his stance and knowing things the way he does - I've journeyed so much myself and have left behind friends and home so many times that I can relate to what it's like to not really have friends for long stretches of your life and being fine with that (otherwise you'd go crazy), plus gathering knowledge is like a Thing. Yep, I suppose I am a complete nerd at that.  So all in all, I began to suspect that he might be an immortal elf perhaps, but no more than that. Or that he picked up knowledge, uncomfortable truths, that he's sharing with me for various reasons. The cover-up of drawing me aside at Skyhold and telling me that the orb is of elven origin, I totally fell for that. He was keeping that from everyone because he knows how it would look, and since we're both elves, we're kind of in this secret conspiracy now, all hush-hush, so.... I thought I already was his confidante. Yep, totally fooled me. (It must have been because he kept distracting me with long looks and sporadic kisses, I'm sure of it.)
