I'm wondering that too, actually. I'm going to go ahead and romance Cullen (but am going to wait until after his personal quest with the Lyrium because I read a really good headcanon for that approach), and then see what happens. I'm also curious to see what will happen at the Winter Palace, too, if she's romancing two people at once (shame on me) O.o;;;
This is my theory for why Solas was able to walk between both the Forgotten Ones and the Creators. He always appears to them in the form of a white puppy wolf. Who can resist that?
Edit: And that's how he tricked them into falling into his trap. He was like woof! let's play catch the wolf! They chased and fell into the void and he sealed them.
Garrus has shades of this too, though it's a colder, more calculated anger. Honestly it scared me more with him than with Solas or Fenris, though you can resolve Garrus's personal quest in a way that helps him get over it.

Nah, Garrus was fine. Once you give him the paragon treatment he's pretty soft. Never had that much of an issue with his vigilante side even though I never approved of it and discouraged it. It's true though, he's an eye-for-an-eye type of guy when you first meet him. I strongly dislike that mentality. I get it though, and I've felt it once in my life when I found out my cat had been carrying an air gun pellet in her chest bone for 2 years. She was dying of old age (died the day I found out in fact) and it felt like such an insult to my broken cat, it filled me with such anger I wanted to find who did this and put pellets into their body...
What horrified me so much about the mages was that Solas was going to murder them for being ignorant. I thought the reaction was completely over the top insane. Even if I saw the spirit equal to a human life (which I do not quite), I would never endorse such harsh punishment. Those weren't sadistic mass murderers, they were mages trying to protect themselves. And then Solas just leaves the rest of the party and sulks. Great, good thing *we* didn't have to summon a spirit to defend our lives against enemies...

I don't know, if one of my friends was being used against their will to do something they really don't want to do, tortured, and then caged...I'd lose it too. But I'd want someone to pull me back from the brink, to keep me from falling further into that rage and guilt. Like someone said, it's easy to stop Solas because he knows he shouldn't do it, that it won't solve anything.

All new as far as I know. Some of them are about the same subjects but I think the text is all new.

Most of them are new, some of them were first seen in World of Thedas though.

So wait, this is going off on a tangent, but didn't Fenris say something about how Danarius gave him that pet name as an insult, as a reference to Fen'Harel? It was supposed to be ironic, or just condescending I think...I can't remember the exact dialogue. DA2 also foreshadowed the vallaslin as slave markings....makes me wonder what else they have in common?

I make Cole a human mostly for other reasons, but a big bonus will be if I get to prove Solas wrong. Mwahahaha.

Yes, I happen to prefer turning Cole more human anyway (proving Solas wrong is just an added benefit). But it just seems like Solas is talking about himself as much as Cole here.
Guys! I think I have some amazingly good news, but need confirmation. I've never played a non-Lavellan: does Solas give everyone the balcony speech 5th degree about whether the mark has affected them or their spirit?
