Four panels reproduced here appear to be part of a much larger mural.
The topmost panel shows a jug overflowing with water, standing on an altar. Three elves in robes are positioned around the altar, while a crowd of elves in warlike regalia stands just slightly apart from them.
Just below is a depiction of all the elves, those in robes and those in armor, prostrating themselves before the altar with worshipful expressions.
Third from the top is a carving which shows one of the three robed figures, a woman with an elaborate tattoo on her face, drinking from the jug on the altar while the other elves watch.
The bottom image shows the tattooed woman standing waist-deep in a pool of water. She holds the jug with water spilling out of its mouth. The armored elves bow before her.

Remember this sidequest? In retrospect, what this Brecilian Temple codex is describing looks kinda familiar. This was also the only known (to me) description of an ancient elf with vallaslin before DA:I.
Why thank you.
Honestly I've been bartering with him to hurry up with DA so he can join me in theory-crafting. His getting bogged down with this Fallout 3 and Dark Souls 2 nonsense is unacceptable!

Batman needs to cheer up. batman has 5 little robins to- well... actually 4... ermm.. So how's Damian?
Oh, so I can claim cultural superiority due to lack of pie then? Neat!

For some reason I just love this part. I don't know whether it's Solas using his staff like a walking stick, or maybe Varric's little "c'mon, bud!" motion he gives to Solas. I just needed an endless loop of it.
ETA I just noticed how funny Cass looks walking up that hill, too. Haha, perfect.
More sensual than sexual myself but I don't claim to be asexual neither. I get alot of crap for appreciating physical form without sexual attraction. May be why I like studying anatomy? So they point at people and say, is that person hot? Then I get analystic about what could be viewed as attractive. Seeing sexual things is common enough and your peers will talk about it at times. But rather than sit through the cringe, I prefer to joke about it towards them. Make light of it and move to the next conversation.
Agree with you. I also think that because I studied Biology that I find it so natural haha.
I'll just leave this beautiful artwork here in case you haven't seen it yet.

They look like they're walking as if that hill has a much steeper incline than it actually has. hahahaha

That's very, very interesting.
A High Priest depositing some of her memories into a well, or just mimicking that action out of reverence?
It's also interesting how many of the temple denizens appear to have been warriors.
We are against pie Janesutin!
this one looks pretty good :333
Sorry to get slightly of your topic, but I would have loved to have gone back to the Brecilian forest in Inquisition. All those environments that I had never even heard of before Inquisition and they had a perfectly good one already ready. It would of been lovely. There would have been sylvans, maybe hobos rhyming trees, and werewolves depending on your choices. Solas would be saying super suspicious things about what he thinks of it (The Fade!). Cole would be obscure and adorable and only we players would know what he's talking about. Maybe Leliana would even reference her time there. It would of been great! Missed opportunity BioWare, missed opportunity!http://dragonage.wik...ed_Elven_Tablet

@Neverlandhunter *raises hand* I don't like pie much either... if you add custard to it, it becomes the spawn of the devil.

I need to know, what is custard really? Is it whipped cream with egg yokes and vanilla in it? Has a snot like texture?

I like pie and custard. I like cake too, don't shoot me!
As for spawn of the devil, there are some cultures that consider red heads spawns of the devil right? I guess being a red head it's only natural I would enjoy pie and custard.
edit: annnnd top of the page. Here's Solas and friends backing away from a dragon. What wusses.

Or perhaps someone who once drank from the well as well....uh, well.
If the spring there was once similar to the well of sorrows, I think it's safe to say the power and memories are no longer there, whether it was destroyed or taken away when that settlement had it's big crisis. The warriors made me think of the Sentinels. Probably Arcane Warriors among them, like the soul that can be found that the temple that teaches the Arcane Warrior spec.

Ugh, tell me about it. I draw and sometimes participate life studies. When I tell someone where I'm going, they ask if the model is cute or if I feel anything if looking at a male model's member or a female's. I have to disappoint them that I'm too busy getting the proportions correct. You got 2 hours to draw the figure and their surroundings, ain't no time to stare intently. Off topic, you get paid pretty well as an art model. It's about 80$ per hour.

So um... now that it's relatively safe to post in here again, I thought to share a little tale of fate, Solas and another other world.
Recently I made a new alt in FFXIV, in preparation of that shiny new Gunner class we're getting soon. She just got the permission to hire retainers, and so with great alacrity, I sent her to hire a couple of Lunar lookalikes since she's a Lunar reference herself. But of course, Every. Single. Lunar reference was taken. Even Mystere!
So, I left it alone a bit. I started to worry she'd be doomed to hire boring retainers with random names, but on a whim I decided to try and recreate our beloved Dread Wolf. I thought it an effort in vain. Surely the name would be taken, and I'm wasting my time, I thought. Balmung is one of the most crowded servers. It HAD to be taken. Right?
Here is the result of that endeavor:
How did I do? I thought of using the mohawk ponytail that's available, but Elezen foreheads are a million miles high and letting all that noggin go unchecked by hair of some sort would just spook the chocobos. So I settled on the pulled back look, but I did do a little experimenting:
And here he is, first day on the job:

Typical.
I tried to make a Zevran retainer to go along with him, but the name was sadly taken. Can't win em all, I guess.
I don't read comics but I do know of Damien what happened to him. Tell me 0_0! Did he pull a Jason Todd?? Should we spoiler tag this conversation!?
I need to know, what is custard really? Is it whipped cream with egg yokes and vanilla in it? Has a snot like texture?
Something like that (I've never investigated what dark arts are involved in creating such vileness
), but you're making it sound tastier than it is... its just
although I know many would disagree. It was a compulosry part of school dinners when I was a child - scarred for life ![]()
Edit: have a Solas

AhhbleghhghI dislike cherry pie, but that's about it. I like cherries well enough, but only fresh. When they go in pies or candies, they usually have all that sugary goo and I hate it. But most pies are very tasty. Especially key lime, chocolate, and pumpkin. Yes, indeed.

Cake is good! Sten likes cake too (honestly, his obsession with sweets is the reason I liked him so much).I like pie and custard. I like cake too, don't shoot me!

How horrible!
I haven't had custard in years. But I remember when my Mom made it, it was always delicious. I like pudding too. My fiance hates mushy food. It grosses him out when I eat oatmeal or applesauce.
