I choose to imagine that her hand is under his jacket instead of Fenris-punching through his chest
Also, Solas seems to have taken a page out of Garrus's book. He is REALLY a fan of the passionate dipkiss.
She's trying to feel some man chest.

.
What book does it come from?
The Last Flight. Which, bear in mind, it was actually NOT written by a BioWare writer, although they did give their official seal of approval on it.
Oh my gosh. I never realized how much Solas was gettin' it during that first kiss until people started messing around with flycam. Look at the thigh placement and everything.
This elf.
My God.
Dat leg placement.
Now I have the mental image of the Dread Wolf dry-humping Lavellan's thigh like your average, overexcited housedog in my mind and I can't make it stoooooop. ![]()
Quick, somebody grab the water hose to break those two up! That's how you end up with a litter of puppies, dammit!

Varric is right over there.

I'm probably placing too much of our own world's evolution into dwarves. Think that if this race lived underground until their current form, they would be closer to the dwellers of the cave such as deepstalkers who are blind but just as small or just as hairless as a nug. So that made me speculate that it was a recent development to live underground.
Spoiler
Seems that magic or some outside influence plays a part in races. Kind of like Kossah and dragons.
Based on what June represents, you could be right to speculate that dwarves were followers.
I always got my choice to become Divine. Is it really difficult? I only support the one I want - always. On the war table, but also in conversations. If I do not want Leliana, I tell her outright "You should not be Divine" and I do not ask Vivienne "What about Leliana?" etc. I really think it is key to make a choice early on (soft/hard Leliana, Herald or not, Divine) and stick to it in every situation.
It can be hard depending on who you want and how you want to play the game. For instance in my first PT I wanted Cass, but I did everything according to what I thought the "right" course was as opposed to trying to do things to get her divine. I got her though so it was easy.
This last PT I wanted Softened Leliana. I accomplished the softened part but I ended up with Cass as Divine. I think where I went wrong was I decided to have that PT be the one where I let Celene die and backed Gespard. I forgot that choice matters for the Divine >< I don't think I am going to end up with Leliana in my current one either because I am going to go Templar because I enjoyed that storyline better. I haven't had the wartable mission for the Divine choice in either of my PTs.
I am so sad I missed out on the furniture troll. Because Vivienne and I never got along, even though I did her main quest with a bunch of approval. I could never get any of her friendlier dialogues, or even get her to chat with me.
Same thing happened with Sera, actually. Got her main quest, but never got the prank scene or the cookie one. I finally just reloaded an old save and agreed with her about the temple of Mythal. Got the prank scene at least.
I have tried to get along with Viv but no such luck and Sera...is Sera. It's like Viv's the party pooper and Sera is the streaker. I have to admit though I have gotten further chats with Sera than I have with Viv.
Because Giselle was mean to Dorian. Hmph. No Divinity for her.
Yeah I like Mother Giselle I just don't like how she treated Dorian because he was from Tevinter.
I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just finished the Solas romance blind without any previous knowledge and, guys, I can't even anymore. By this point I have done all the available romances, and though they were are very satisfying in their own right, I think by far this one, with Solas, was by far the most impactful in my honest opinion.
RIP other OTPs. My sweet elf and Solas will live on in my heart. Foreva'.
Little picture of my Elf mage and her boo. Sorry for the potato quality of my quizzy, it was taken with my phone. Shh~.

That part I'm not sure of. I don't THINK individuals have songs, I think they mirror the song of what has become a part of them - i.e. Templars having an old song, missing something, a hole they're trying to fill (likely due to drinking lyrium and mirroring the way the Dwarves feel/ hear the stone much in the same way they find Lyrium by listening to it sing). Darkspawn and Grey Wardens hear the "song" of the Archdemon/ blight. The Red Lyrium has a twisted song.
Dang. Makes me wish we had a character called The Singer. That'd be... that'd be good.
That's what I've always assumed.
Lyrium sings, the taint connects minds. I think the lyrium song reaches those deprived of magic/fade? I don't think it physically sings, but sings to ones' soul instead.
I wrote some pages ago that I think that the combination of lyrium & taint is what gives Coryflakes the ability to 'speak' the calling, I think this is valid for the archdemons as well, just in a different manner? I also think that the combination of lyrium and darkspawn taint doesn't corrupt it, more like enhances it. Lyrium is very dangerous on its' own, if you increase that power tenfold it will become deadly. I'm not certain it twists the lyrium's song, maybe it distorts it, enhances it, both by amplitude and shorter wavelength.
Notice how tainted people look, blotchy, sickly skin & cataract-like eyes, they suffer from dementia & madness. At the same time - the darkspawn need no healers, their wounds heal quickly and if given enough time they can recover missing body parts. I've been wondering if the tainted undergo a process in which time moves faster for them, this can drive a person to madness quite easily. That also sits with lyrium being enhanced by the taint, both because of its' magic attributes as well as it acting like an amplifier. Think what the taint can give an immortal in that case ![]()
This all... Thing... Is a mystery, but I do think lyrium plays a key part in.. everything. Cory was very close to godhood because he consumed lyrium for a long duration of his life (like all the magisters -> this also mutated him and made an abomination out of him).

Yes, this!
In my current playthrough my Lavellan kept the Wardens as allies, made Cole more human, stopped him form killing the mages and is going to drink from the well. I just finished Halamshiral and I maxed his approval again, even after all that. I still haven't got his artifacts, I'm keeping them for the after-well thing.
Basically she got approval only from two main quests, since I allied with mages and arrested florienne (or whatever she's called). He still loves her like there's no tomorrowshe's kind and light hearted, she helps people. That's it!
Seriously, I made the same decisions. (Well, except I finished the elven artifacts quest before Halamshiral and didn't spare Florienna), and the romance continued just fine.
What's funny is, in past games I was always an approval-monger when it came to LIs. I would restart every conversation and quest encounter, and pick different dialogue options or decisions till I got the max amount of approval every time. In the long run I wondered if the LI companions would have loved my character for who she really was, rather than the "perfect girl" I fashioned for them. For DAI, I resolved to have my character give honest answers and stand by her decisions even if it didn't earn approval. I was really happy and surprised to find that Solas still loved my Lavellan even if they didn't agree on everything. They had enough in common and shared enough of the same goals and values that disagreements were just little stones thrown in a large, calm, clear pond.
EDIT: So, yeah. Solas is not unreasonable and you don't have to agree on everything for him to like or get along with you.
You have a Beautiful Lavellan.

Thanks Roxy, on both accounts. ![]()

That's because he's an incomplete Thranduil. The real Thranduil would have flowing silky hair. If we want to be realer, a half melted face would be preferred.
I am currently reading Book of Thedas, the Fade part, and an idea stroke me.
It is said, that spirits shape the Fade by mimicking the pieces they see through the eyes of dreamers. And the only constant is the Black City. What if it is reflected from the thoughts, memories, of some extremely powerful dreamer, or dreamers, that are still, in fact, sleeping? And that's why it's the only thing, that is not everchanging?

.
You guys I'm really like...I don't know.
The forgotten ones.
The dwarves made images of dwarven deities, that we know from the Primeval Thaig. But the shaperate had no memory of them. They are forgotten.
Dagna talks about a MASSIVE wall of memories in her vision that was like the one she knew, but had no recollection of.
Sooo, madam, you have just earned +15 approval from Liz. You might as well have handed me Fade-Touched Antivan Leather Boots signed by the Maker himself.
So the forgotten ones were literally forgotten? They just disappeared from people's memories? And I thought the entire time it was due to the hip, new faith called the Elven Pantheon at the time.

Ooh. That is an awesome thought. That also fits the theory that the black city is a mirror of Arlathan, and considering the elven gods are immortal, it would certainly seem to have been projected forever...
Sims 4 Solavellan, fanfiction, and sassy Adaar playthrough. That's what's getting me through the Solavellan feels. I stopped playing after the final mission with my Lavellan, though I didn't have anything left other than the random collections.
I'm eventually going to do a more completionist run with her, but I'm going to get as much done as possible before endgame so Solas is in the party for it.
Solavellan Sims and fanfiction, that's exactly what I need! And fanart. I shall pour my feels on to the paper! I had to that with DAO. I'm still trying to create Ferelden and its inhabitants in Sims so my Warden can have some closure XD
I'm not sure what quests I missed out on, there were a lot of markers I didn't investigate because I was rushing... especially in the Hinterlands. I definitely didn't kill all the high dragons or collect all the shards, and I'd really like to finish those. Doing a competitionist run with Lavellan sounds like a good idea, that way you have Solas for as long as possible hehe.

Hell, maybe it's a thing that ONLY exists in memory? And because they remember it as tainted, it IS tainted.
Gotta evolve this!
