You know... I was just thinking that.
The numbers do back this theory up.
I was wondering if anyone has considered if Solas' plan involves time travel , going back, warping time, erasing it? They just introduced the concept of magic that can affect the flow of time in the mages quest, but it could be a possibility. Maybe do a little back to the future? If he truly is immortal he probably does not perceive time as mortals do. It's probably not the case , but I would like if they continued to explore the time manipulation concept if not with Solas' storyline , than use it for something else. A DLC that futures heavy time travel would be great. If we can see past events , places that would not be accessible otherwise. Maybe we could even visit Arlathan? Time travel /warping could have many utilities even if the magic, as Dorian explained , is quite unstable and could tear down time. Maybe there is way to make it more safe. The possibilities could be endless...
I don't think so. Its possible, but Solas seems surprised to find out about time magic. He doesn't even seem to believe it at first.
The game seemed to set up that time travel was only made possible because of the breach itself. Since there's no breach [that we know of] in Arlathan, there's no connecting point. They would have to introduce a new method of travel.

Welp... it's not wrong, that's for sure.
What? We didn't sink into despair. Just some... philosophical discussion

It wouldn't matter how his immortality alters his views on time, any changes he would make would simply just splinter the timeline and leave the future he left behind unchanged and create an alternate world...maybe. Thedas is weird so maybe it would be a-ok. But i have a feeling it could involve some time travel since he looked fascinated by it, changing or fixing a mistake seems to most times lead to altering timelines. Still we aren't sure exactly what is it he plans to do ![]()
Guys? How the **** did you all end up rock bottom AGAIN? In the time it took me to leave work, get home and eat, the thread has sunk to despair again... who do I have to kneecap? *cracks knuckles*
I think people waffle on the happy/sad because we have nothing else to grab onto yet. I'm on team "whatever happens happens". I will be fine as long as it's good. I still play through Thane's story line even though I'm gutted every.single.time. But it's a good kind of ripping my heart out of my chest. It feels ok. There's resolution.
With Solas: We have nothing yet, just a lot of questions and anger. Once we get resolution to the story - even if it's sad - people will be ok. I hope.

That's how I look at it, anyway. I'm sorry if I said something wrong. ![]()

Some might disagree with me but I find Thanes romance to be the best way to go, sure Shep suffers his loss but she knew what she was getting into from the start and judging by how it ends she doesn't leave a brokenhearted lover behind. (lol especially Kaidan or any ME romance)
Wonder how many Solavellan's did Thanes romance.

Seriously, right?
In DAO, for example, Morrigan is romance-able only to men and Alistair only to women.
Women who romance Alistair had better not make him king or she always gets dumped; unless she hardens him into letting her be his mistress (BLEH!) or are human nobles who convince the Landsmeet to let him marry her perfect pedigree noble blood despite her blighted womb. Then we learn years later that her inability to bear children causes political strife.
Men who romance Morrigan get left at the end of the game no matter what, BUT he gets to find her and walk through the mirror with her in Witch Hunt (women who befriend her can't), and live happily with her and their son.
I keep holding onto hope that BioWare will give a happier ending with our proud apostate with an agenda who left at the end since PCs got one with Morrigan... but those PCs were male. Ours are female. We get heartbreak more disproportionately.

Nope. Time magic doesn't work before the Breach timeline.
Ah, gotcha. Thanks. It was worth a shot atleast.
RE: The dwarfs mixing with other races. I remember something about someone...lol In DAO the Ash warriors say that they got their fighting style from a man that was half-dwarf half-human (someone Dwarfson)If I remember correctly. It has been years since I last played it.

Here's the codex entry. I need to re-read it, but there's nothing about him being a half-dwarf?

I may have gotten some of the Better Screenshots utilities working. ![]()
Ok, so maybe ended up making the game crash but I did successfully take a 5120x2560 screenshot.
This means I'll probably be messing around with flycam again tonight. :3
Hey all, too busy to respond in full today, but wanted to say that I have really enjoyed following the discussions on "The Black City", "The Void", "The Stone" and "The Pantheon".
(Also I may be a little in love with Andruil and Ghilan'nain despite not knowing if we'll ever meet them >.>)

I did. But I also kind of had lots of Shepards to spare lol. Yeah....But I never romanced Jacob, cause **** you Jacob. I talked to him only 2 times - first time when you get on board of the Normandy 2.0 and to get his loyalty mission. And that's the end of that.
Ah Thane, let's go somewhere more private...*moves next to the window".

Speaking of science...
It's said, that Thalsian, dreamer from the Neromenian tribes, claimed that he ventured to the realm of the Old Gods, where Dumat taught him blood magic (ref. The World of Thedas). Soooo, it is only logical to conclude, that whatever the Old Gods are, they dwell within the Fade. Some of them. Dumat. Yeah...
EDIT: Oh, and considering how easily Quizzie shapes the Fade into Haven, it's very possible, she's also a talented dreamer.

Does anyone know what he says to a Dalish Inquisitor here? Is it the same, "From the stories..." line?

Ah, so he wasn't really half-dwarf...well ****. Now I'm starting to think that memory of DAO is even worse than I thought

It's apparently the same. ![]()
I guess he must be referencing the Dalish in that case though, as opposed to just elves.
