Not sure if particle cleft chin or a scar on chin...
I'm like 99.9999% certain it's a cleft chin.
Though it's still entirely possible Solas got into a fight where he was smacked by something so hard that it left an extremely deep scar.

And really excellent Disney advice FOR Solas:
Spoiler
So true, so true.
I actually think that Solas, despite feeling bad that he lied Lavellan, thinks she she loves who he really is. She isn't enamored with his powers or reputation. She fell in love with a weak apostate mage with nothing to his name. It's a very magical version of "coming to america". And sometimes when you realize someone really loves you, it can hurt way more. And can be really confusing. Especially for someone as flawed as Solas.
As for how it will end, I have no idea. I think they will meet again. And it's going to be something passionate and painful. I just want Solas to have a happy ending no matter what,
but i'm not sureWeekes will let that happen.Even ifhe can'tbe with Lavellan, I want him to be at peace.
They are always going to be connected because Lavellan has the last of his power. I know this is going to play into his story line somehow. And I think at one point she is going to have the option to give him what he wants, or deny him that. And that option will either save his soul or doom it. But in that moment you wont know which decision does what.
Personally, I think the only happy ending would be if Solas would have no powers anymore. Just a normal mage with the ability to walk the fade. All his work and plans are what make him so unhappy. If he would just let that go and let himself be with Lavellan. Lose his immortality and work with her for a future. I think finally when he actually lives a life he will be happy. Growing old and sharing aging with someone else and finally not dying alone in bed in the arms of Lavellan would be his happy ending.
Fixed it for you.

Just to weigh in on this, if you actually look at the excerpts from the Tome of Koslun, while it praises the value of finding order in a chaotic world, it also embraces the virtues of free will, free thought and finding ones own path and destiny. It also has Koslun reflect that it's within our power to make or destroy the world, something both Morrigan said in the Fire's Above trailer and Mother Giselle echoes when you first meet her about the Inquisition. Furthermore, the concept of asit tal-eb, shows that they don't look down on suicide, as they see existence as a choice and one that can be refused.
It seems however that over the centuries, this philosophy has been perverted into as much a fantatical dogma as the Chant of Light, so free will is now seen only as acceptance or refusal of one's duty that must be corrected and that rather than find one's own path and destiny, you will be assigned a destiny and path and you will like it.
It seems ironic that the kind of self-reflection, meditation and free thinking that Koslun practiced and which he used to found the Qunari society, would likely lead to his being re-educated under the modern Qun for what advocating what is essentially a counterculture movement. Compared to the kossith society he was in at the time, it definitely was against the establishment (which the Qunari hate) and would have made him a political dissident.
(Also, does anyone else notice that in his story, he meditates in a desert and that's when he first gains the idea for the Qun... which makes me wonder if he might have actually been dreaming and been influenced by dreamers and/or the denizens of the Fade?)
I think the Qun's apparent degradation fits in with the cycles in real and Theodosian history, as well.
Andraste rises up against magisters and slavery. Not really a fan of oppression.
Few centuries later, elves are living in alienages and mage children are being tossed in dungeons.
I get the feeling that the kossith are, in part, responsible for the radicalization of the Qun. Whether by being so chaotic that they saw no other choice, or by threatening them with extinction.
It reminds me of a story from the early Roman Republic that was told as a way of instilling proper Roman values. (I apologize for getting many of the details wrong as it's been years since I've brushed up on this exact period. And it's possible it was made up by Cato as a way of romanticizing the past as his way of dealing with the decadent present, when really the past Romans were just as greedy, just less successful at it. *shrug*)
A group of Samnite ambassadors brought the most expensive gifts they could find to the residence of Manius Curius Dentatus, hoping to win his favor and that of Rome. To their astonishment, the war hero who'd fought Pyrrhus and crushed the Lucani was a man sitting by a simple hearth, poking at a pot of turnips he was cooking. They tried offering him their gold, but he dismissed it, saying that he preferred to crush the possessors of gold rather than take it himself, as gold was only desirable to weaklings like the Greeks. It's a story about Rome's conservative, rustic, humble origins.
Now compare this to the excesses of the Emperors, or the Civil Wars that pitted power-hungry Roman against Roman.
It's the nature of history to strip away a civilization's essence away and turn it into a twisted reflection. I imagine Koslun would be shocked by the actions of the modern Qunari.

Looks like people are becoming pessimistic. Remember that they made a witch hunt dlc so that the warden can reunite with Morrigan.

So, I've never posted on a forum. But.
I just finished my first (sans spoiler) play through last night. So I found my way here.
The romance broke me. And I am 29. I am old. What is this? What happened?
Also, wild guess at who I ended up being my grey warden. And what happened to my clan.
Also, I think I broke Leliana.
At least Dorian loves me?

Usually somewhere on this circle: Mythal - dragon - Solas - Dirthamen - Dumat - Qunari - kiss - Solas - Flemeth - eyes - lips - Vallaslin - mages - cheesecakeWhat stage are we at?
If you give me an hour I can connect all of that to one coherent idea, which ends with a huge explosion.

Have you checked out the quarry down where you get a tome for Vivienne, just north of the Abyssal Dragon?
Dem Codex entries.

Headcanon: The Old God buried beneath the Western Approach broke out through the Abyssal Rift and flew north to rally the darkspawn, buzzing the occasional passing merchant.
