Alright, so how do you know Solas intended to tell Lavellan and backed out at the last moment, telling her about the vallaslin instead? Where does that come from now, especially since you all seem to be convinced it is a fact. He does not even hesitate or anything, so.... ?

Okay so I got Dragon Age I on PC so i can go into the files. Does anyone know where I can learn how to do this?
ALSO i learned that the well whispers are tied to the FX and not dialogue sounds. So that is super annoying. I'm hoping i can find those whispers in their own audio file somehow without the wind sounds on top.

Well that is awesome to hear he was at least going to tell her and stay with her even though he didnt. I wasnt suggesting he bound her but unbound her, from what i dont know.
I would very much like this. However, it would only make a bit of sense if, e.g., the Dalish Inquisitor always came with a Mythal tattoo and alway drank from the well. Then we could argue that the vallaslin sort of binds her to Mythal, as does drinking from the well, and this was his last resort of restoring a fraction of her freedom. However, I do not believe so. Just too many assumptions and, most of all, would be too important for the overall story arc (which must be Inquisitor independent).

This mosaic reminds me of a representation of a solar eclipse for some reason. Could it have to do with the Elgar'nan/Sun legend?
The mosaic also seems to me to echo the idol/monkey face; the basic shapes are the same if you superimpose the two.

With all the Warden-talk around.
How well would your Warden and Quizzy get along? (Ignore question if you play self inserts
)
And how would your Warden react to Solas or vice versa? (So the post is at least somewhat on topic!)
Edit: You can of course also ignore the questions altogether, that works too
AND I hope the use of "vice versa" is correct in the second one ^^
Lavellan killed Surana's boyfriend to save Hawke so... not well, I'd expect. Lavellan would probably try to apologise but Surana is kind of hot headed (although she's less so now she's older.)
Solas would not like my very pro-Warden Surana at all, but they'd be fine if they could stick to talking about the Fade, spirits, research and how amazing mage freedom is.

I'm starting to think the same thing. It would fit with the theme Inquisition pushes about how gods aren't really gods but are seen that way through the lense of history. Andraste, and now the Inquisitor are in the same boat.
Regardless of whether or not they are gods, it would seem that from Fen'Harel's viewpoint they are definitely not. It would make sense for an ancient elf to be "disillusioned" (if that's how it went down) or possibly he did/does know some added secrets that we're not cognizant of. I'm thinking along the lines of ME3 (interconnectedness theory brewing here regarding Bioware Stories):
I'm thinking, what if the gods were simply denizens of the Fade? There is a permanent gateway between the worlds of the Fade, the Void and Thedas, yet the origin of beings predetermines their respective power and how they regard one another. Just as to an ancient human we might be perceived as gods for all our "mystical powers" (I'm thinking Prime Directive violation here.)

I like these questions!
My canon warden, fSurana (First Name: Goldie), would probably be annoyed by my first playthrough Quizzy, Starling Lavellan. My quizzy is way more diplomatic and kind than my canon warden. Goldie was a circle-raised mage who made some shady decisions during the blight that she felt were necessary. She was also a blood mage. My first playthrough Lavellan mage is too "elfy" for her, though my quizzy would have gotten along very well with my extremely diplomatic and kind first playthrough Warden, fAmell. fSurana and fAmell (my two main wardens) are frenemies in my headcanon.
Goldie would have liked Solas, because she would have wanted to learn to be powerful from him. She's also an adventurous gal, so I imagine she'd try to get Solas involved in some kind of three way with her and Zev. (what a perv!). They probably felt the same way about blood magic, though I'm not sure if Solas would like her. Goldie is brash and quick to joke, though she's cool with her friends murdering whoever they want, as long as it doesn't help destroy the world. Maybe she and Solas would have been allies at least. She would really get along with Sera, despite the whole bloodmage thing. She would have definitely ridden The Bull, and she's a redhead, so that helps!

So I was thinking about Felassan earlier today, and who may have killed him. This has most likely been covered before, but everything moves quickly here so I may not have seen it.
I don't think he was a former slave or servant of Fen'harel. He knows a lot about him, though. Felassan may indeed be an ancient elf, but he wears vallaslin, which has now been revealed to be slave markings. So, if he's not Fen'harel's slave or servant...then whose?
In the book, his vallaslin is said to curl around his eyes. Elgar'nan, Sylaise, Andruil, and Falon'din all have vallaslin that curl around the eyes.
The Creators are said to be dreamers, right? In a dialogue between a servant and his master in Val Royeaux, the servant says Mythal talks to him in his sleep. What if Felassan isn't the only slave out there trying to find a way to release their masters, whom have revealed themselves through the Fade? Perhaps like Mythal's sentinels, they wake up when a temple is in danger, or they were forced awake by their masters. Felassan was just the closest to finding a way, and he betrayed them. Either because he has lived in this world and realizes bringing the gods back would be a terrible mistake, or he became fond of Briala. Perhaps both.
But he was murdered in the Fade...right before, I am sure, he was going to say: "She reminds me of Fen'harel."

... SNIFF.
Now I really WILL never be able to romance Cullen. Him and Amell as star crossed lovers is just too strong. Amell will just remain single until she finds a way to cure the calling, hop on a friggin griffon, fly to Skyhold, her hair whipping sensuously through the air as she lands on the battlement by his quarters, and call out his name.
And then...
You know the rest.
You know.. this would be a surprising ending for a future game if you played an unromanced femage mage and inquisitor didn't romance Cullen. Interesting if she learned Cullen left the templars for past reasons. I wonder if cullen (mancers?) fans would be like, well sh*t. Maybe I shouldn't have romanced cullen.
So quite a crap ton of time between the two, yeah? So it's just weird to me that they would be present in an image with the Tevinter magisters who didn't have access to the Eluvians/ literal fast travel.
Do we know that for a fact? That they did not have any such means? Maybe not exactly an Eluvian, but something similar.
Fact? Indirectly. In Witch Hunt, when you learned that Morrigan was planning to use the Eluvian for a reason, your Circle Nerd companion named Finn pondered why Morrigan would need it when all the Tevinters could do was long-distance communication. So at the time, it was quite surprising that Eluvians could be used as a portal of some sort.

Isn't Morrigan suppose to look like Flemeth when she was young? They have the same color eyes, same way of speaking etc.

Wow. That was an hour of people speaking, hardly saying anything. As if every sentence was just a desperate copy of "Sorry... I really cannot tell you." I so felt their pain.
Anyhow.. I don't know. That break he speaks of... that is a bit like the ME-ending-debate all over again. Tell the fans what they want to hear. Maybe they really intended that from the start but I am not convinced. Maybe because all the other "breaks" in voices (with Cullen or Blackwall, e.g.) are so massive and this one is barely (?) there. Why not make it a bit heavier, let the Inquisitor ask what's wrong and let Solas come up with some vague explanation or simply change the topic to speak of the vallaslin? That's their usual style.
