I've never even edited a wiki page myself, but I'd certainly be willing to help.

 

Not sure what would be a suitable wiki name, though. Dragon Age Theorycrafting? Or would we want to name it something that would mostly appeal to people who regularly visit this thread? Something along the lines of "Solas Thread Theorycrafting"? It might be a good idea in that less people are likely to barge in and start trolling about, but then again we might lose out on ideas from people that don't visit the thread, and who might want to contribute anyway.

 

I need to get a better handle on how authoring and contributing works, but I imagine there'd be an alternative route for outside theory-crafters to submit ideas without posting to this particular thread.  As for the name, I'm a bit fond of "Team Mordin's DA Lab" personally, but don't want to yank the name out from under Cassius if (he? she?) isn't on board with this.

They all annoyed me, so I forced the three of them together on my most recent PT.  Meh, screw Orlais.

I did the same thing. I really wanted to tell them that they all worked for me now, but told them to work together for the good of Orlais instead. I think my dudequisitor is going to put Gaspard and Briala on the throne, though.

It just occured to me what a work of Sisyphus it will be to organize all the crazy in to pages. I'm almost scared now o.O

If it is to be a place to manage all Thedas related knowledge and theories, I strongly assume many people (not only from this thread) will contribute. If done well, it might even be helpful for BioWare, so maybe it will be supported. Like an official fan club.

I really need to read TME. I read the Stolen Throne way back in the day and I thought it was...alright. But it didn't grab me. Then again, back then I was more of a Mass Effect fan anyways. Inquisition really made me fall in love with the lore, especially elven lore.

 

Also, Kreebby on tumblr, the one who captured that awesome flycam shot of the fade kiss, just posted the video. And it is amazing.

Just want to add in my two cents as as a Solas thread follower/sometimes poster: I love reading the theory crafting, and since much of it does pertain to the Elven pantheon and Solas/Fen'Harel's role within it and in potentially shaping what we know of Thedas now, it is relevant. And interesting. And, frankly, were it a completely separate group/thread I might feel less comfortable posting my own occasional insight/question/thought since I don't consider myself much of a theory crafter. Where here in the Solas thread it's just casual slightly off-topic nerd talk And if I'm not in the mood I can always just skim through those posts.

But! A wiki where all the theories and maps and unofficial timelines and such were all in one place would be really awesome. Again, not a theory crafter myself so i don't plan to contribute, but should I ever happen to accidentally come up with something brilliant, you're all more than welcome it
