Example
Theory
Hand-crafted theories, created by posters in the Solas thread. Must be documented with any specific codex, screenshot, art, etc, that is directly referenced by theory. Must be as clear and concise as possible within reason.
Lore
· Organized into main categories
· Relevant codex entries should be grouped on one page per category
· Major categories should be as simplified as possible
Examples
Races Magic Geography
Elves The Fade Thedas
Humans Lyrium Tevinter
Qunari The Blight The Deep Roads
Dwarves Runes Orlais
Then, further, each “category” would be broken down.
Elves
§ History
· Ancient History (One page with any codex entries related to the ancient history of the elves- on one page so that by reading you could get a somewhat clear picture of the history of the elves)
· Modern History (One page with any codex entries related to the current history of the elves- could be broken down further to separate the Dalish from the City elves.
§ Religion
· The Pantheon (One page with any codex entries related to the pantheon as a whole.)
¨ Each member of the pantheon would have a corresponding page listing all codex entries that are specific to that particular member. Ex. Solas, Fen’Harel, The Dread Wolf- would have one page that would list any codex entries related to him specifically, in an order that makes sense.
I'll probably start going through the codex entries, then. Will group them into big categories (Elves/Humans/The Fade/etc.) until we get all the categories - including smaller ones - figured out.
Another reason to re-read this stuff. Maybe I'll find something interesting.
I wasn't being helpful at all. lol.
Oh, well I feel less bad about laughing hysterically then ![]()
Clannad's I I'll Find You. Listen when you get the chance. Lyrics is basically: "no matter where you go I will find you, if it takes a thousand years"
OOOOOH! I know that one from Last of the Mohicans... and yea, that's good one. It's now playing in my head so yay ![]()

There there. You've come to the right place.
I'm leaving work early in an hour to go to a visitation, but then I'm terribly sick so as soon as I go buy my husband some pants after the visitation for the funeral tomorrow (he doesn't own any that fit him and he thought he would wear jeans to my great-aunt's funeral), I'll be home in bed and I can help organize more.
But you've got me another hour anyway.

Sorry to interrupt any theorizing and fangirling, ya'll. I need the Recovery Wing Crash Cart. Tiger Festival finally stopped putting off the inevitable and put her little heart in Solas's hands for him to crush into a million pieces.

First there was this:
Then there was this:
And then...
My poor Tiger. Despite what I said earlier about probably picking the sad puppy response, She told him she wasn't giving up. I sure hope her resolve remains strong, because right now, mine's a creaky, wobbly mess. I'll be over here in the fort, huddling under the biggest, fuzziest blanket I can find for a while if anyone needs me. Company welcome.
Bring Vodka.
Of course I now also have Daniel Day-Lewis yelling "No matter what occurs just stay alive! I will find you!" Ah
And you guys need to watch Last of the Mohicans if you haven't it's good ![]()
Any ideas about how to handle conflicting theories? Just trying to imagine the basic outline of the "Solas" page makes me nervous, given how much heated argument there's been about Triple Threat Theory, the nature of his relationship with Mythal, his connection to Uthenera and tie-in to Thedosian reincarnation cycle... the list is extensive.
A top level page with categorized links to each theory?

Did your Lavellan go through a personality change at all during their Inquisition time? Were they stoic from start to finish? Or did something happen along the way that made you change the way you played?
My Lavellan's character arc actually reminds me a lot of Leliana's. Probably why they became such good friends. They are both gentle, sweet, compassionate people at heart who nevertheless have the potential to be terrifying and extremely dangerous. And their essentially good natures are tested to the limit by the crisis they have to handle, and the moral compromises they have to make. The big difference is that Clariel never had that awful moment of disillusionment that Leliana suffers after the conclave; she never had faith in any gods in particular, so there's nothing to lose.
Clariel's Heroic BSOD was Therinfall Redoubt. Up until then, she'd been more-or-less going with the flow of the Inquisition, adapting to the world around her and trying not to rock the boat. Envy showed her what the Inquisition could become if its power got out of hand, what she could become if she got swept up in it, and that scared her more than anything else in the world. I think it's what kept her from going down the same path as hardened Leliana.
So did she change as a person? Yes and no. Of my "canon" Dragon Age PCs, she definitely did the most growing up in a very short timeframe. But I don't think she'll ever forget what it felt like watching Thedas burn in her name, watching her friends suffer and die at the Envy!Herald's hands. Of all my PCs, she's the only one who made a conscious decision not to compromise her identity, not to lose that innate kindness and mercy. She refused to become someone else under all that pressure, and that's what makes her my favorite DA protagonist.

That would probably work best. Each theory with it's own page, related theories grouped. Could also list how different theories conflict. That could be interesting.

*ahem* I think we may need more Abelas smut fics to fill the void...

Or at least more sexy fanart of him.
Shutting up now... xD
Same here...
Grabs bottle and cookies. All the feels, tearing us apart. You came to the right place for Solas recovery (unrecovery...lots of sobbing)
hugs to you.
I did this ONCE, with my first Lavellan; he didn't take her tattoos, but it was still wrenching. I was *this* close to this scene a couple of days ago with another Lavellan...and I deleted her instead...ugh. I don't know how the other elves are going to do, but at least Lamark (my male elf) will be spared. ![]()
Am I being a big effing coward for avoiding taking my second Lavellan through the temple?
I think keep theories as separated as possible for the time being until there's a clear view of how they will work along side each other. Conflicting theories can still be posted under one category.
As for theories v. wiki, whatever you feel like doing would be helpful.
The lore side will need a lot of work and that's going to take time, so if you want to work on that please do. When you're ready to get back to the theory crafting, do that.
Here are some category ideas- and yes, it's VERY important to keep Lore and Theory separate because we don't want to be accused of people thinking our theories are concrete evidence.
I think separating the Lore from the Theory is of upmost importance. You have his lore page, which links to his theory page, which would have links to the MANY different concepts available.
What else do we need on the lore pages, aside of codex entries? I'll collect and organize them (codexes), no problem, but since English isn't my native language, I'd rather leave writing descriptions/essays to someone else.
