I'm sorry I messed up your drawing. It was loading and I didn't know where the back button was.

Could use something like Iscribble.. But you need a account and it's pretty small.

Personally I would prefer google hangout and videochat their screen. That way everyone could just use their own art program and you don't have to download anything if you have a google account like gmail. edit: the trade off is that it's not easy to set up. kind of. But you can use voice or text.

Online browser chatrooms tend to use something as low as ms paint quality.

After Morrigan took the well's power in 'What Pride Had Wrought', Solas asked what Lavellan intended to do with it. It was a really important conversation to me, because after I said that I would want my friends to guide me and such, he explained that although its a modest and noble ideal, good people need to take responsibility for power because if they don't the bad guys will ( or something along those lines?... man, I wish that I could find this conversation somewhere, because I'm really bad at explaining this type of thing and I make Solas sound so immature XD)

...*ahem* so, yeah. I'll stop now. ^////^ ehehe...

I think I picked that conversation in my quick run. Did it go something like this?

Solas: What will you do with the power of the well once Corypheus is dead?

Inq: I'm not arrogant enough to think it's my decision alone. Whatever happens, we'll do it together.

Solas: You think to share your power, to avoid the temptation to misuse it. A noble sentiment... But, ultimately, a mistake.

Inq: Why?

Solas: Because while one selfless woman may walk away from the lure of power's corruption, no group has ever done so.

Inq: There's a first time for everything.

Solas: Perhaps. But it will not be this time. I believe even you know that.

Speaking of fan art...someone drew the Elven Pantheon

http://mevanna.devia...theon-507505009

Looking at that and suddenly all I can do is imagine the Elven Pantheon as the Sages from The Legend of Zelda.

The colourful ones from Ocarina of Time and not the creepy ones from Twilight Princess. Although the TP ones did use a mirror to lock Ganondorf into another realm. PARALLELS AND ALL THAT JAZZ.

Ahem. Sorry. When running round both the Western Approach and Hissing Wastes they reminded me so much of the desert level in TLZ: Twilight Princess. I can't seem to stop blending the two in my brain. Man I hate desert levels. Pretty, but...they kinda just make me sad.

I read Masked Empire and Asunder before DA:I, and all of the characters who actually turned up in DA:I as cameos were the characters I liked the least.. except Ser Michel   Though it's hard to count Briala since I liked her in Masked Empire, and despised her in DA:I.  Seriously, of all the cool people in Asunder, it's Fiona who lives in my keep.  Why couldn't I have Rhys and Evangeline?

</whining>

Oh well.  At least we got Cole out of Asunder.  My guardian spirit of compassion

Wish there was an option to bump off Celene/Gaspard/Briala and make Ser Michel Emperor of Orlais. ALL HAIL EMPEROR MICHEL.

He and Felassan may have been the only two characters I could stand in TME...

Although he does ****** me off in DAI.

"I will make it my life's work to kill this demon! Lol nevermind, I'm going to help the village. You do it."

Spoiler

Whoa- if you're talking about the possibility

Spoiler
the theory is that he didn't keep it for long.  His immediate interest in using the eluvians would have been recovering his original body, which I think he did.  I'm pretty sure the Solas we met is the original Dirthamen from ancient Arlathan: suspicious forehead scar and all.

How is Briala so different then she was in TME? I really liked her in DA:I. Finally a Elf who doesn't hate me, and she's a freakin revolutionary leader, hell yeee.

It's a superficial preference thing, really.  Her VA drove me absolutely batty.

Why do people like Michel so much?  Is it his looks?  What?  I keep seeing people fangirling and fanboying over him and I always found him to be dull, racist and kind of a murderder.

EDIT: I'm aware that my use of 'racist' to descibe Michel seems a tad hypocritical when I opposed the term when used to describe Solas.  However, he does throw around terms like 'knife ear' so I think it is a suitable use of the word.

Thanks for the answers about what was said in the fade between the fear demon and Solas, I'll have to poke at Weeks about it.

If you apologize for destroying the Orb Solas says it's not your fault. He even gets a bit angry at you for thinking it was your fault.

I didn't interpret that as anger at all. To me it just came off he was really upset but also didn't want to reveal it was his fault to you (because woah) but he also really didn't want you to think it was your fault. So sad/guilty/concerned is the way it came off to me.

I honestly hated him. Oh sure, he might be a good fighter, but to me he's weak and spineless at the core as well as being too caught up with living as an image at the cost of his soul. I didn't find any redeeming quality in him. Best left on the trash heap with the rest of the rubbish.

He didn't even look that good in DAI. <_<

Yeah, I didn't get anger. I got guilt/depressed.

I'm going to imagine this being some sort of "gift" from Solas to Lavellan to wear on a sexy birthday.

NSFW

Spoiler

He seems like the kind of guy to buy his lover classy yet scandalously sexy evening wear.

Haha i just had a thought that he would get this for her to go to Orlesian court being like "what it looks great. People used to wear this all the time when I was in court."

"when were you in court?"

"uhhmmmm... in the fade. yes. the fade"

I was looking around other threads and saw one about how irratating it's going to be that, no matter how the player chose to take the Herald of Andraste title, history is going to remeber them as the Herald and the Inquisition as an Andrastian order.

And it struck me: this is what the game is all about.  No matter what we do, history will remember the player as the Herald of an Andrastian Inquisition.  It's the same way history will always remember Fen'Harel as a traitor.  It doesn't matter what actions we take, the only thing that matters is how history remembers us.

It comes up constantly in the game - Cassandra's version of Dawn of the Seeker, Alistair's sarcasm about the events of the Fifth Blight, Fen'Harel being remembered as a traitor, Celene (in TME) muses that for all she wanted to be a scholar and a peacemaker she's going to be remembered as the woman who destoryed an empire.

It's not just Solas' actions that tell us we should re-evaulate our view of Fen'Harel, the entire game tell us this.

<snip>

I love that you bring this up. There was also that line from Flemythal, should you choose to say you recognize her as Flemeth; you sum up her story in one or two lines, and she responds something like one day, your story will be told so succinctly. This is an aspect of DA:I I really loved, especially as a history nerd. It's one of those sad facts of history, that the whole story can and will never be known no matter how well documented. The people who write and remember either don't care, or the story is more interesting one way or another, and that's that. Terribly sad ><

This is why I would like Varric to exaggerate the tales. If people are going to get it wrong, make it grand.

Careful.  Last time I spoke in terms like those on the BioWare Social Network, I got jumped for being an Indoctrination Theorist.

Now I just point out silly things.  Like this.    Much safer.

I think it's because I hated everyone else (minus Felassan) so much that it made me like him to get me through the story. Plus, he was the guy killing everyone. Always love the guy whose killing everyone. Especially if everyone is in Orlais.

I was hoping he'd manage to kill Gaspard, then murder Celene and leg it. But nooooo. I got left to deal with the pair of them.

It's why I like picking the option where you make them all work together in Wicked Hearts. "I beat you at your stupid game. Now you all have to work for me. STFU and Deal. With. It."

I actually really love that arc of the game. But boy do I hate all the players.

I like to think Lavellan was just as good at being a spy at the conclave.

"Greetings, fellow Andrastrians! How about that Maker?" (finger guns)

"Why do you have Dalish tattoos?"

"What? These? Umm. Well, I got them to spy on the Dalish."

"You're a spy?"

"No! . . . Well, yes. A spy for  . . . Andraste!"
