Makeup + Shems don't care about elves and think they are just things to to their bidding. They point out that Elves are really not seen as important at all and Humans will not even notice they are there a lot of the time.

I was looking around other threads and saw one about how irratating it's going to be that, no matter how the player chose to take the Herald of Andraste title, history is going to remeber them as the Herald and the Inquisition as an Andrastian order.
And it struck me: this is what the game is all about. No matter what we do, history will remember the player as the Herald of an Andrastian Inquisition. It's the same way history will always remember Fen'Harel as a traitor. It doesn't matter what actions we take, the only thing that matters is how history remembers us.
It comes up constantly in the game - Cassandra's version of Dawn of the Seeker, Alistair's sarcasm about the events of the Fifth Blight, Fen'Harel being remembered as a traitor, Celene (in TME) muses that for all she wanted to be a scholar and a peacemaker she's going to be remembered as the woman who destoryed an empire.
It's not just Solas' actions that tell us we should re-evaulate our view of Fen'Harel, the entire game tell us this.
I love this about the game... right down to how the codex entries are written from the perspective of their author, and therefore might be unreliable, or biased, and to be taken with a grain of salt. Much like real history. It's like Varric says in DA2 when Hawke asks why he tells stories...stories have power, and how things are remembered ultimately has a lot to do with who tells them.

Not to mention that there's either a costume change (dressed in mercenary outfit while unconscious), or Lavellan wore the beginning mercenary outfit and a hood on purpose to hide their Vallaslin and blend in a bit more with other mercenary types that were there.

Dalish scouts (hunters) are sneaky sneaks. They have to hunt enough prey to feed the entire clan and they hunt with bows. That pretty much means being silent and invisible.

Some Dalish have left the clan of their own volition, as we know from Zevran's mother, Arianni, Zevran (who apparently joined and left them at some point in his life), Velanna, and Merrill. I expect Lavellan would have simply pretended to be a former Dalish who left the clan, and became involved with a mercenary company as part of his cover.

Haha. For a moment I jumped ahead and saw 'over 90 puzzles' and a part of me died inside. I just imagine an endless elven ruin full of those directional puzzles.
Welp, those "patch notes" started out sounding legit, then jumped the shark so fast it's not believable at all. Too bad. Many of those seem like interesting tweaks/fixes.
