Regarding Indoctrination Theory:
I spent a blissful week or two aboard the Indoc theory train before crashing back into a mild depression (thank goodness for the Extended Cut).
Regarding Abelas's eyes:
I thought they looked exactly like Solas's in the epilogue too! I wonder if that means he got Flemeth's knowledge or memories along with her power? It kinda freaks me out he refers to Cole post-epilogue as 'someone that he once cared for'. That implies Solas no longer cares in the present tense. I really hope his personality isn't completely different now.
Now wait... I thought Solas was talking about Lavellan? "Someone I once cared for" meaning that we broke up. Or....?

Regarding the Solas is Felassan thing... Yeah, they both have violet eyes (at least, on my PC Solas has dark grey eyes with violet in the middle - its weird when so many fanfics describe them as blue) and dress similarly, and also seem to have an 'ageless' quality (I know some got the impression that Felassan looked older, but there's one scene where he's described as looking very young as well). But I re-read the book recently after playing DAI and tried reading Felassan's dialogue in Solas' voice. It... didn't really work. Felassan just comes across as way more wry and eccentric, and his phrasing lacks that lyrical quality Solas's has.
Here the original color.. (no mod) So basically his eyes are greyish blue with purplish coloring on the inner circle of his eyes.
So.. mostly greyish blue.

This is why in my canon PT I don't even go and speak to Solas once after the breakup. When I first got that "harden your heart to a cutting edge" line and then learned that he stops calling Lavellan "vhenan" or "my heart" after the breakup and it's just a cold "inquisitor"....man I deleted that save immediately . That was even worse than the breakup scene imo...he just so quickly seemed to be totally over it...it killed me inside.
Once I deleted that save, it was so much better to play through as if they never have that conversation. The breakup happens, I go straight through to the endgame without talking to Solas again, and when he leaves and tells Lavellan that what they had was real...it just feels more natural and loving and tragic in a good way. Bypassing that awkward conversation makes all the difference man...I just refuse to believe he would be so cold to my Lavellan like that, so now in my game world he never was.
That whole exchange always makes me sad because when he says that to Lavellan, I feel like he's saying it to himself more. He's trying to cut off the emotions as much as he can because he can't handle it.

I don't know, lol! I do know that we met an apparition of Shartan in DA:O at the Temple of Sacred Ashes...so one would think that would throw that theory out.

But isn't the guy in the plaidweave Disciple Havard? That second image seems to be an image of him taking Andraste's ashes from Tevinter and back to the Alamarri lands.
Edit:
Havard and Maferath were friends since they were children, and stayed friends well into adulthood. When Maferath became the leader of the Alamarri tribe of Avvars, Havard became his second. However, the two parted ways when Maferath decided to hand Andraste over to the Tevinters. He was unable to save the "Bride of the Maker" from the fires, but managed to steal her ashes and bring them back to the Alamarri lands.
