Canon Lavellan has a "silver nug foot charm", "dragon sketches x2" and "dalish toy soldier" that sits in her inventory.
They are hypotheses, just as yours are. They have flaws, but so do yours. Neither is likely to be canon.

Some people have thinner skins than others when it comes to pet theories, and things have occasionally got a bit raw with people feeling like they're coming under personal attack when others present counter-evidence.

Thanks! I figured maybe the story was a movie, though I haven't seen that one. I miss all of his movie references, basically. I just thought it was cute that Solas asked Cole if he had any interest in women.This actually refers to a movie, Meet Joe Black. The original is a classic, but there's a newer version and Brad Pitt played Death in it. It was named after the name of the man Death was possessing. Basically, Death agrees not to take a man for a while so that he can take the man's daughter instead. In the old version, Death does take the woman, but in the newer version, he lets her live and then she falls in love with the man Death was possessing. The story Solas and Cole are telling is only different in that Death didn't want anything until possessing someone.
A lot of dialogues between Solas and Cole refer to movies. I can't identify all of them. One of them is It's a Wonderful Life, though.

If you have Solas take the Peaceful Aura skill, he gets this halo of glowing when he's in combat. His romance doesn't lock in until he breaks up with you over angst about betraying his cause, and possible death of you later on.
If you like Fenris, well... He's a glowy elf who sometimes glistens (Isabela friend fiction, anyone?) and is terribly angsty over his self worth, memories returning during hot sex, and whether he actually deserves Hawke as a lover.

Granted, I have a fondness for twisty emotions and shiny things. That said,I would actually argue the the Twilight romance is ultimately the opposite of angsty, b/c at the end, everything gets wrapped up in a nice, neat package. Even if Lavellan ends up happy w/ Solas (a BIG if), that outcome will almost certainly be sullied with the suffering of others. One is romantic, the other is Romantic.

I've heard it in Val Royeaux too, I like to headcanon that Zevran's secretly doing some assassin work for Leliana on the sly, aside from the stuff on the war table that you know about.
It fits with Threnn's comment to a Qunari Inquisitor about "Leliana's hired oxmen" that implies that she was the one who hired your company and how she's the one who gets all the smugglers and whatnot, so it makes sense she's doing some underhanded stuff to help the Inquisition that we might not "officially" know about?

I think that, she said that as a blanketed statement about the wolf species in general, however, it would be deliciously interesting if it had more implication. I'm sure someone else here, who's like WAY smarter than me, will ninja in and give you a detailed hypotheses regarding that dialogue.

I think I tossed this one around in the past, but I believe that the head of the ancient elven pantheon was not Elgar'nan, which even the ancient myths seems to suggest, but rather Mythal.
I really like your theory of the old gods as the chosen of the elven pantheon. If Morrigan drinks from the Well of Sorrows, she gains the ability to shapeshift into a dragon, so it seems plausible. Also it's possible Fen'Harel and Ghilan'nain weren't part of the original pantheon and so may not have the dragon ability or chosen followers, which would explain why there are only 7 old gods instead of 9.
Regarding the Anchor - hearing that name for the Mark bugged me the whole game! Dagna describes it as a key, someone else says it's like a like needle. Those things seem to make sense because in the game you are opening/closing rifts (like a key) and physically entering the Fade (needle through the Veil). But an Anchor? Anchor to what exactly? Not sure I'm sold on the Veil itself but if Cory used the term, it's got to mean something interesting.
As for Mythal leading the pantheon, I'm on board with that. The codex about the traitor who took on the form of the gods says:
The sinner belongs to Dirthamen; he claims he took wings at the urging of Ghilan'nain, and begs protection from Mythal. She does not show him favor, and will let Elgar'nan judge him.
She will let Elgar'nan judge him? It's possible Mythal was known for being the more merciful of the two, but still. If she wasn't leading, it seems like they are on equal footing at least.

And I just today learned the easy way to skip it when selling my valuables. I used to just click and sell one by one, but if you have the desired item on top and press the down arrow to get to the next item, the game will ignore the top item and let you sell the ones underneath without re-choosing each one.

I think it was meant to mean "the dread wolf Witherfang", as Witherfang was once a normal (albeit highly vicious) wolf that Zathrian cursed to contain the Lady's essence, turning them both into something of an abomination?
It is interesting however that he's an albino wolf, which we repeatedly see in Solas' tarot cards?
