I want to know the process by which they create Solas' face and body. Somehow they managed to make someone that could be taken as ugly AND beautiful.

Pretty much this! I remember when I saw the pre-release pictures and heard about his background, being an elf was the most interesting aspect to me but it ended there. Now I feel like a combination of visuals and personality did it for me. He's a really cool character. Very different to any other BW games in that respect. I find his face really interesting and it grew on me lol

Also, his smile/laugh is the most adorable!

Edit:

Also can I say I like knowing that some of you are a bit older than me? (I'm 27)

It's exciting to share with other people the same passion for games and knowing that I have this with me for the long run!  <3

It's safe to assume most of us have been playing for a long time and to those that started, it only gets better~

I just wanted to say out loud because I don't think anyone would openly admit it now, that I loved Twilight.

Maybe not deep intellectual philosophical literature but I liked it anyway. Also liked the movies. (Even if Kristen Stewart is stupid.)

So if you also read the books and watched the movies, and ...liked them..but was too nervous to post that because of judginess, never fear. I did it for you. :)

I went back to the well to see if the whispers say different stuff to morrigan. The only difference I hear is "bound to the same daughter"

Haha. I'm 33. I miss being 19 but only in theory. I like where my life is now. :)

I just turned 34 not quite 3 weeks ago.  Sometimes I feel like I still am 19, but without all of the uncertainty and that type of stuff.  I like where my life is now too.  As much as I get depressed about being in my 30s, and getting older, I like my 30s more than I did my early 20s.  Oh boy those were some rough years of self discovery and figuring myself out.  I would not want to be that girl again.  Plus I partied and drank waaaaaay too much.  Geebus.

I feel so funny being on this forum because till now of the ppl I know I am the youngest here. It is funny seeing you guys talking about husbands and being like '' OH I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS STILL 19.. ''

me: * coughs * I'm 19...

*coughs* I'm 19 in seven days, so you're definitely not the youngest...

I suddenly feel rather young.

For the record the Woman cave with the PC is mine.  Santa (me) bought a PS4 to appease the rest of the masses (hubby and kids).  If they are REALLY good I might let them touch my gaming rig - but then again, maybe not.  My hubby bought me my current gaming rig when my last one (a 10 year old Pentium 4) died 18 months ago because he likes it when I'm happy.  We share expenses but usually buy each other expensive toys;)

It's nice to have one's own setup, isn't it? :)  I ended up building my husband a new PC this year because we had a lot of trouble finding games to play together that ran on his crappy ancient Dell... it took a bit of convincing, but totally worth it.

I'm amazed all you guys kept counting after the legal drinking age. I only know I'm in my twenties some age and born in the year 1991.

Woo, someone is older than me! (I'm 42 in May..don't worry about it!)

:D  43 in March, but I try and stay immature to make up for my advancing years.

Oh my... *thinks of the 90's and gets all misty eyed*  I save my partying for music festival's these days... roll on Glastonbury!

I'm fairly certain if enough of us put our heads together, we can uncover your age using science.  Maybe...

My weekends started on Thursday and went until work on Monday.  I was strangely resistant to hangovers.  Blessing and a curse.  If I had more hangovers I probably would have drank less!

Now it's pretty much only the Christmas Holidays that I drink.  Oh and my Birthday.  New Years Eve, it's law that you get drunk on NYE, right? :P

It's sad, I have the opposite problem now.  I don't even have to be drunk to feel it the next day.  Sometimes I just have a couple beers, or glasses of wine and I get a headache the next day.

33 in march. It's awesome that no matter what our ages, we are all bound to the same obsession. Solas. :)

Couldn't the taint have passed from Fiona to her child, thus curing her? Alistair's dragon blood could have been what kept him safe from the taint affecting him, maybe. Just a guess.

I don't know if it has already been answered in the later pages (I'm way behind), but it is widely believed that the Blight immunity of Fiona comes from the fact that she was once possessed. Seekers of Truth, who are tranquilled and 'touched' by a spirit of faith, also have Blight immunity. The key is the possession and it has something to do with the Fade.

Oh Maker! It took me all morning to catch up with the posts. I have nothing intelligent to contribute. That is all.

OK, maybe this: I LUV YOU GUYS!

Well, I guess that exudes pathos rather than logos... but still.

*nods* them were the days...

Reasons I very rarely drink 1) crippling hangovers and 2) the FEAR!!!

edit: wine is the worst for hangovers...  I get myself into all kinds of trouble when I drink, its not pretty   (although my friends find it very entertaining).

Corypheus's backwards shouts of rage are hilarious, and would fit in perfectly with a Saturday morning cartoon version of Inquisition:lol:

You just know the voices of the Well have been waiting for the opportunity to tell Morrigan she bound herself to her mother.  :D

Has there been much discussion on the Calling? Why do the Old Gods Call? How does this fit in with our various tin-foil hat theories? Was it an Old God thing? Was Solas really holding back during Dawn Will Come:mellow:
