Random question, but have any of you ever considered naming pets after Dragon Age characters? I don't know if I'd ever name something Solas but I'd definitely consider many of the other names!
Get a little tiny dog and name it Fen'Harel.
I'd for SURE name a pet Anders or Fenris, GLAADDDDLLLYYYY.
Or what if Solas got injured so Lavellan is dressing his wounds. That would be an intimate but nonsexual scene of half naked Solas.
You'd think so but one must remember the old "Well goddamnit, Indy, where doesn't it hurt?" trick.
If I was to get a pet right now, I'd consider Solas as a name... If I got a pet wolf, it would be a no brainer

Since we're all sharing ages, 31 here. LOL. Also, people keep mentioning their husbands, and I'm just sitting here in forever alone land. T_T Seriously, though, I love the fact that the ages in this fandom are so varied.
I wanna join the draw chat, but I am still learning how to do digital art without it looking terrible. I got out of drawing for a while (I used to do it all the time when I was younger), but I recently got a Wacom tablet and am very, very bad at it still. I turn 26 in a few days time. I think my maturity peaked when I was around 16-19 years old. After 21, well it just all went downhill from there.
I'm also Teetotal and apparently that makes me both disturbing and dangerous. Mostly because it means I'll remember your humiliations and recount them to you the next day. Possibly draw on your face if you pass out.
I was the pied piper of the drunks when I was 19. Making sure everyone got back to our Student Halls at university after a night of pubs and clubs. It takes a long time. Especially if it starts snowing during the walk. Drunk people and snow. It's madness. I do miss being 19 though, well not the age but the year I had being 19/20 was the most fun.
I've just been playing around with my Qunari run of DAI (saving a lot of my redo Lavellan for when that next patch arrives) and got to the Fallow Mire. Realised that I really dislike the Fallow Mire. At least it's not a big area. But too many undead. Way too many undead. With arrows. Euuuuuugh.
I've also decided that I really don't care for the Champions of the Just arc. Meeting Cole is awesome, and I like the way the whole Envy demon in your head bits goes, but. Eh. I just have way more fun over in Redcliffe with wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuffs.
But I sodding hate Fiona and rather like Barrus.

I probably would have been drunk more often as a teenager if alcohol had the same effect on me as on other people. At some point I can't walk or speak properly anymore but my brain is still sober. Not fun. Parties are a lot less enjoyable when you're the only one who's sober enough to realize how dumb everyone is behaving.
I've always been like this. I always thought my peers were embarrassing. Drunk or not drunk.
So I can't even look back on my wild rebellious youth with fondness. I just skipped it all. At 16 I was home playing video games reading and writing letters to my pen pals about The X Files. Now I'm home reading, playing video games and posting stuff on BSN... my life is so exciting...
Yeah, I tried reading one of the threads complaining about "all the women" in DAI. At first it was entertaining to watch people derail the troll w/ cupcake recipes, but in the end it was just sort of depressing. Anyway, this thread provides more than enough content to keep me occupied.

Abelas and Lavellan are only friends in that one, and Solas doesn't flip out, so I don't think so. But I highly recommend it, good reading there!

After having listened to the interview about Solas it becomes even more heartwrenching to imagine a Lavellan that breaks up with him right before he breaks up with you. Because, you know, he wanted to tell you all about himself (even though he got cold feet at the end) and you crush his heart.

I just finished exercising and I'm super exhausted (A POX ON YOUR HOUSE SHAUN T) so I'm not going to go back and quote people because even my brains hurt right now but just thought I'd throw my hat in here on a few of the hot topics from past pages:
1. Tumblr, well, I don't know what happened but I've not had a bad experience on tumblr at all. I've had my blog for about five years now, I've got a legion of faceless followers, and even though I can't post as much as I used to, I still always enjoy it. Maybe it's because my blog has never really been personal? In general, I never talk about myself, I never post opinions about anything (other than PUT YOUR EYEBALLS ON THIS ART NOWWW) and as a result I've never had anyone say anything mean or nasty to me. When I say I have a legion of faceless followers, I mean it, no one talks to me. I think the last time I got a question was like a year ago? So I guess what I'm saying is that tumblr can be super awesome, you just have to be willing to avoid all the bad parts and then also not post your personal opinions? Because that stuff opens you up to the trolls? I get that is probably the wimpy thing to do, but whatever man life is too short to spend it arguing with awful people about ridiculous things.
2. I stopped counting my age after 21 as well Birdy. After 21 I got to drink my first imperial stout and after that I guess numbers just lost their meaning. Which also lets you all know my feels about alcohol...I mean good on you if you can avoid it, but man oh man I have a weakness for microbrews. Oh what is that? Dark chocolate raspberry ale? SIGN ME UP FOREVER. But yes, everything in moderation (except for smutty fanfic OF COURSE).
3. Good to know I'm not the only single girl on this thread. YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN YOUR LONELINESS. I will say that this Solasmance has made me reconsider my stand on dating lately...I had pretty much convinced myself that I liked being alone now 3 years after I ended my engagement...but that breakup brought all those old weird feels that I hadn't felt in a while rushing back, so definitely thinking about starting all that up again. I will probs regret it but it is kind of hilarious that I have been paying way more attention to the bald guys that show up on my match.com matches than ever before. I AM THE WORST DO NOT DATE ME.
