Isn't your avatar from Lunar 2? I loved those games, but it's been forever since I've played them. Might have to dig out the 'ol PS1 disks and give them a whirl at some point in the future.

 

Yep! I was a big fan of all of Working Designs' games. Was very put out when they went under. I haven't tried the newer handheld lunar games. I just feel like it wouldn't be the same without WD's brand of fantastic localization.

The handheld versions are very different in some ways, though I believe more accurate to the original Japanese. But there really was something very charming about the original localization, particularly the way songs were covered. Though the singer is the same, the lyrics lost a drop of the magic that was in the original,ah.

If it's post-epilogue LI content, then I suppose they could have Solas and Lavellan meet in a Fade dream. Or, if they really want to torture everyone, reveal at the end that it's not Solas at all, but a spirit reflection of him.

I believe that is exactly what most of us are hoping for. And I agree that his ultimate plan may be too big for DLC, but that doesn't mean it can't begin there and allow us a way to get him back on the team at the same time. There have been several plot theories in this thread already that are perfectly feasible to fit within the scope of a 8-10 hour add on.

Whether or not they will do it, however...? Who can say.

I can only speak for myself, but I will pretty much be uninterested in any DLC that doesn't get him back. The game feels empty and sad without him.

Listen if they wait till Dragon Age 4 it's gonna be a long, lonely wait.

Also... yes to a Wolf Hunt DLC. Barring that, I know they talked about DLCs that would expand on the world with new maps and stories and such (and there was an emphasis on them wanting to do more content for the existing romances and companions instead of adding new ones), so as long as I can play them pre- end game  (and preferably pre- Solas breakup) I'll be happy. Because it would royally suck to have to go on some long, involved quest without him and his nerdy comments on the things we discover. It'd be kind of unfair, too... Because we'd get all this new content for everyone but him.

 

There is a signature in here that matches my sentiments exactly: Wolf Hunt DLC or I form a mob. And it must have several choices we can take: go with him, talk him out of it, punch, slap, tackle, snog, hug, etc.

 

So I'm still terribly sick so I will not be at work tomorrow. Instead it's dragon age all day. And this forum.

Its just terrible being sick.

It looks a little like the original Ghilan'nain vallaslin from Origins (until you get to the chin). But it could be Falon'Din as well. It definitely says stag or halla to me, especially around the forehead.

I opened my post game save yesterday and found an amulet of power..restricted to solas. Sis says now my Lavellan has something to remember him by ._. Being optimistic I was like dont worry I'll hand it over when he comes back to her. I hope I am not wrong DX

EDIT: nevermind, just checked the chart. It does resemble Falon'din's the most. Though I can see the raven too, and the ravens are connected to Dirthamen

Well, the ravens are bound to Dirthamen, but the bear seems to be his favored animal.  I just thought the shape on the forehead looked like a raven head since Dirthamen's vallaslin is obviously an owl.  But it also looks like it could be a horned head of something with batlike wings.
