It was just a rather generic 'we should move on' and Morrigan agreeing. I think. I reloaded the save and picked a different option in the end.
Gah, Solas. Dropping the dialogue ball!

Which is *exactly* what I tried to say: we do not know, we cannot know. We can interpret anything into everything. I personally am not interpreting at all, I just take it as it comes. Because of the endless possibilities. So.. yeah, I am Morrigan! Only without the trying to be all-knowing bit, I guess. I just know that I know nothing. :-)LOL
Sorry, reading through this all I could hear was Morr's voice in my head, Since I just played a part of the Temple quest where she's trying to be so all-knowing but really knows nothing... (not saying you are, just explaining my foolish reacion.)
They're more like siblings than a couple!
That's what I was thinking. Narratively, they certainly seem to be. Both possibly view Mythal/Flemeth as a mother figure, both have an 'inheritance' from her, both are similarly tempered and prone to disapproving. Both are intelligent and smug. The only difference is Morrigan won't hide the fact, while Solas is a bit more polite about it.

They're like mirror images of one another, Solas has almost the same role in DA:I as Morrigan had in DA:O... Spooky.

Hello? Solas? Your girlfriend just suggested you hook up with the sneaky witch-thief! Really? Not got a single comment?

Hehe, sneaky witch thief.
I prefer to think of it as a moment of shifty-eyes, clears throat and then suggests to move on. Instead of just all business, she caught him off guard and he doesn't have a good enough response.
The real question is: for being the god of mothers, why is Mythal/Flemeth raising such incorrigible children? It seems like every member of the Mythal/Flemeth 'line' needs some sort of extensive therapy.
Maybe the whol quest for vengeance clouds her parenting...

Yeah, I could see that as more sibling rivalry, now you say it.
And it does beg the question, that depending on the relationship between the Elven gods and if they were anything like the Egyptian or Greek ones, could they have had some kind of complicated familial relationships, so that rather than being friends, they actually were related in some way?
I could see Mythal actually being Fen'Harel's mother, since it seems like her to have a child who'd end up becoming the God of Rebellion, especially given how Morrigan turned out? Even more fitting if true, since in addition to their similar plots and characters, that would mean that both her offspring at one point or another, ended up attempting to kill her?

Allegedly Falon'Din/Dirthamen are her kids. [Possibly along with Andruil/Sylaise/June]. I'm sure some of that is just legend, but...it does not paint a good picture on her track record.

If you go off of legend, the entire elven pantheon with the exception of Fen'Harel and Ghilan'nain are related. I'm guessing Fen'Harel would have been more like an adopted son than an actual son, but who knows! It definitely seems like one big, messed up family.

Geeze that Mythal gets around

Headcanon accepted.

A strong mind, able to change the world (or in this case sustain the ways of old), does not need to be agreeable. I reject the idea that compliance and manners are more important than ideals and a strong will. The real question is: for being the god of mothers, why is Mythal/Flemeth raising such incorrigible children? Am I the only one how doesn't see a wolf in this? I only see two dragons.
Looked a bit closer and I see it now. Looks like the wolf's towering over the defeated dragon...
I think the dragon looks like a Siamese cat.

And that's what Solas is off to do. Finishing killing cats. I mean, have you seen any in Inquisition? That's what he's been doing since he woke up. Cat-massacre.

Makes it even better when you think that Flemeth herself was originally from Highever and her story involved the fall of Conobar and the rise of the Cousland line, so you never know, maybe she's related to them as well? After all, it seems a weird coincidence that her lover was named Osen and Fergus' lad was named Oren, both of whom met their deaths in Highever castle? And if Sarim Cousland was related to Osen, it'd make sense why he in particular as Captain of the Guard would turn against his lord?
(How weird would it be if you romanced Morrigan as a Cousland, if you ended up being distant relatives?)

If that's what he's doing, I'm afraid I can't love him anymore. DEstroying half of Thedas in a bid to bring back the elvhen gods, I can live with, but leave the kitties alone!

Lol, Flemeth is mother to everyone!

...Anders don't like this... ![]()

That's what that end scene was, Solas and Flemeth were fighting over who gets to steal the "Cora is Everyone" meme from Once Upon A Time... ![]()

(To the others:)
However, you do go on interpreting. Else this thread would be rather silent and boring.
Honestly, I wouldn't want to know. Not until it's time for it to be revealed. Would only spoil all the fun. ![]()
Anders lost his right to a cat vote when he blew up the chantry!
Actually, it's WHY he blew up the chantry.Ser Pounce-a-lot was the first one killed. Drove him nuts and he, as usual, blamed the Chantry. ;-)
