OMG. I got wolf friends for the first time, in Emprise du Lion. (The Token of the Packmaster thing) Maybe they're glad Solas is no longer wearing raspberry too.
Plaidweave. Plaidweave for everyone. Vivienne Greatly Disaproves but so worth it.

You know, I don't care if a tragic ending makes more story sense or whatever. I just want a happy ending. Plzzz Biowareee!
With you there hun, not even sunshine and rainbows, just positive..as the Morriganmancers got. More doom and gloom = a meh reaction now imo.
If we don't get a the possibility of a good ending like the Morrimancers did I will be most annoyed. If male wardens get the option of having a happily ever after with their morally ambigous apostate partner, then so should Lavellans.

There are some fabric textures that I see on other armor, but you can't use in your own crafting. It's annoying.

.
We mentioned this before a while back that sad for sad's sake can end up in Lifetime territory. Also, terrible things happening to your character all the time even when they don't deserve it is just as strong a railroad to Mary Sue-ism as when everything goes right.
The way to make this story have THE. MOST. FEELS. is to give us both the good and the bad. We've already been through hell, we could probably do with a little more (but with a few breadcrumbs of hope thrown into the mix), and if the writers make us FIGHT WITH BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS IN-GAME (both battle fight and emotionally fight) for a good ending and we get it.. There will not be enough tissues in this world or the next to stop the collective flood.
That's honestly what I hope for. Because good storytelling is usually some terrible mixture of sadomasochism.
Solas needs a human female romance option. Just imagine the extra forbidden feels and self loathing! Mmmmmm.....
I think it is better he does not have because there is obiviously a reason why he does not have one.. it is clear when you play with him and how he talks of them.. Idk well it is fine if you want to but I prefer sweet lovellan with the big wolfie.
The real question is: for being the god of mothers, why is Mythal/Flemeth raising such incorrigible children? It seems like every member of the Mythal/Flemeth 'line' needs some sort of extensive therapy.
I know I've mentioned this before, but I completely relate to Morrigan in DAO because my own mother is bipolar/NPD and was therefore a total mind**** as far as raising a child goes. My husband played through romancing Morrigan in the first game and was quick to bring up how my defenses were exactly like Morri's.
Now we come to realize that Flemeth is Mythal, who was the mother figure for the ancient elves. No wonder they were so screwed up. Hm, that's not where I was originally intending to go with this, but I'll let it stand.
I think what I was originally wondering is whether we have gotten Morrigan wrong or Flemeth wrong. Was she really that terrible of a mother? Or was it that, yes, she was a terrible mother, but only because she is a goddess and needed to prepare Morrigan for becoming a goddess. Goddess first, who cares about mothering? Urgh... well, that certainly fits in with NPD right there.

Yes, please
I need my happy ending, we deserve our happy ending.

*claps* Good for you!
The Token of the Packmaster never worked for me, as in not once. ![]()

Ugh! Same! At this point, I don't think I could stand the thought of a sad tragic ending anymore. I get way too depressed thinking about that. I mean, Solas' story is already sad as it is. Making it end on a sad note would be just too heartbreaking.
Seriously, a happy ending would be nice. Please Bioware? Pretty please? ![]()
Definitely. Because if they gave me a sad-sap ending now - THAT WELL IS DRY. There is no more to give.
I'd probably just feel frustrated and wonder what the point of even having the romance in there was. To make it sadder? Well, chances are that if he's doomed to a glorious anti-hero death, it was going to be sad anyway.
It would just feel like beating a dead horse. Or a dead wolf, in this case.
After all my crafting yesterday, my main team has unintentionally become Team Purple. Except for Solas who shunned the raspberry for a white wolf look. Cole is now the sole keeper of the raspberry.
Cass is violet, and Dudevellan is kinda lavender.
Also wolf friends ![]()

It never worked for me before, I was starting to think it was another thing that was cut from the lastgen versions of the game. Then today, suddenly it worked. Don't give up! ![]()
So, I've finished another set of codex entries - the Fade/magic/spirits related ones ![]()

I rarely use the crating system (because I'm lazy) but what materials do you use for raspberry?
Hey guys- Nice to see you again. Team Optimism is out in force today, I see
. Normally I would come in and voice my hope/belief in the tragic end, but... as someone else said, I don't want to beat a dead wolf.
Anyway- has there been update on a fix for the measuring the veil/ what lies dormant quests? Or maybe some info on a possible third patch, or has BW announced that they're going to leave as is (as so many of my favorite character bugs seem to be subjected to- poor Jowan, sigh)? I have yet to see Solas' tarot card change from the initial one on the character choice screen, and its bugging me that I'm missing quest resolution.
Hey! I need to ask you guys! Where do you get the flycam and how does it work because I'd like to use one to record my videos.. So I could make more unique fan videos for you guys!
Solas' card doesn't change until the end of the game - at least, as far as I can tell. Unless he's supposed to have a 4th possible card?
Does my Inquisitor have to wear The Token of the Packmaster for it to work, or can anyone in the party wear it?
Solas's card only changes in two places:
Romance or the end of the game. If you romanced him you don't see the end game card, and visa versa.

Yes, it is supposed to change after All New- Faded for Her, but never has (for me, at least) because that quest never gets properly logged as "complete". Just as all the other companion cards change after the completion of their personal quests.
Edit: Mine also never changes w/ the romance, even after the break-up- i assumed it was part of the same bug
