So, this doesn't have anything to do with....anything, but I thought it was kind of interesting. If this has already been pointed out, just ignore me. A description of Flemeth's Grimoire. "An old, but lovingly cared for book, bound in leather of questionable origins. The pages smell of herbs and wood smoke. Intricate stitching on the cover marks out a leafless tree, strangely ominous in its stark appearance." Does that tree description sound familiar to anyone else? On topic: Solas. Woof.

We mentioned this before a while back that sad for sad's sake can end up in Lifetime territory.

 

See, this is where I get very, very glad that the only LI I've ever been interested in in ME was Liara (and Garrus and I probably would've dumped her for him if I hadn't played Lair of the Shadow Broker) so I at least got a happy romance.  Until the end of ME3, but let's not go there.  But my DAO LI was Alistair (either he sleeps with a woman he hates for questionable means or one of you dies!  Oh, and you can't marry him if he's king.  And if he's a Grey Warden he'll probably die in DAI), my DA2 LI was Fenris (ends happily enough, but it's seven years of angst before that.  And he and Hawke are seperated by DAI.  And Hawke will probably die in DAI) and then Solas.

I rarely use the crating system (because I'm lazy) but what materials do you use for raspberry?

One of the purply ones I know offhand is Highever Weave. I had team raspberry for a while, too.

Hang on and I'll try to find the IGN (I think) blog where they were talking about the card.  I'd never heard of it before, and didn't know it was missing until I read the post.

Yes, it is supposed to change after All New- Faded for Her, but never has (for me, at least) because that quest never gets properly logged as "complete".  Just as all the other companion cards change after the completion of their personal quests.

 

Edit: Mine also never changes w/ the romance, even after the break-up- i assumed it was part of the same bug

 

It's only supposed to change after the romance ends (post What Pride Has Wrought).  It doesn't change at All New, Faded For Her.  If it's not changed by the post game then yes, that's a bug.

Solas' card is The Hermit at first, then it's The Hierophant if romanced and The Tower if not.

There's only three cards for Solas, so if it doesn't change with the romance, that is a bug. He doesn't have a friendship card though.

You actually can marry Alistair if he's king and your char is human.  But not elf, no.  And the HoF still sods off and disappears.  Not entirely pleased with that or the reason but I can live with it.

Solas's card only changes in two places:

 

Romance or the end of the game. If you romanced him you don't see the end game card, and visa versa.

EDIT: Oh damn, am I supposed to post a picture? I don't think I have a screenshot of Solas alone. I have one of him and my Inqui during Cole's quest I guess I can post that?

I'm afraid I don't know.  I looked, but I don't seem to have the material.  The raspberry armors I had (including the base coat Cole is still using) are from loot, so I haven't crafted any raspberry ones myself.

 

 

Does my Inquisitor have to wear The Token of the Packmaster for it to work, or can anyone in the party wear it? 

 

I'm not sure, my Inquisitor is wearing it in my case.

 

You can make wolf friends in Emprise du Lion???!!! Where and how?!

 

I dunno...  I put on the amulet, and wolves started hanging out with us.    It's the first time it's worked for me.

How have I never used highever weave, that is gorgeous. What is wrong with me? Lol.

Interesting! I am not sure. It could just be buggy. Most people I've heard get locked with the romance card at the end of the game.

I've seen all the tarot cards and I've not seen a fourth Solas card.  Patch 3 is coming out soon though.

I just checked my two completed saves (well the ones I kept).  Both have the romance card with the big white X on it (damn you white X!).  Were you angry at the break up?  I didn't get angry in those two.

I imagine if Solas had a fourth card, it would be in the tarot deck that they released. The majority of companions only have three cards. I think Iron Bull and Blackwall are the only ones with four?
