You know what's a lot of work? Wandering around the Hissing wastes. So. Much. Walking.
Know what ya mean. I just have a couple shards and the dragon left on my Nightmare PT. Very tired of that map, lol.

Also, and I am just making assumptions here, I think anything that's to honor Fen'Harel might look more like these wolves:
spoilered for size
Spoiler
I don't have anything really to back that up, just making an assumption from what I have seen. This is a Fen'Harel shrine. I suspect any wolf statues that are to honor him more than likely would look like that.
In DAO they look like this

It likely varies from Circle to Circle... Ahah, it does. I found what I was thinking of:
Ahhh, okay. "Reward for good behavior" makes sense. Only the mages who are seen by the chantry as least threatening are able to marry, and marriage can be used as a carrot in order to exert control over those who might one day wish to get married.
Do you have to do the dragon for the tomb? I just found the dragon and looked like it was in the same area.Know what ya mean. I just have a couple shards and the dragon left on my Nightmare PT. Very tired of that map, lol.
Thank you.
I'm not sure how to log into the wiki. Give me a tutorial and later tonight when I have time I'll upload the FA timeline and the maps, I guess?

Obv. I skipped this dragon last PT and didn't do any dragons at all first time around. I'll get all the dragons this time but want to wait till I'm higher than level 16.
I think that dragon stays asleep unless you poke it.
I saw amazing Solas dream again... He was younger in that one. He had his dreadlocks.. it was so romantic dream and in the dream I knew that he was the dread wolf and he left me in the end but he was able to dissapear again similar way as cole and I remember that he was cabable of reading my mind and he was watching me from the dark corners and I rememeber being like
'' SOLAS T_T I LOVE YOU PLEASE COME BACK * cries out loud * ''
XD omfg
I also woke up!!!!! And when I woke up in the middle I was first like half sleep and I saw like that he would've been standing next to my bed XDDDDDDDDD then I really opened my eyes like: WTF
And it was the chair.. LOL XD
I thought I was starting to really hallucinate soon LOL
it woke up when I tried to jump on it. That really startled me.
Ultimately there's only so many art assets in the game. So you are going to have statues that sometimes are statues of Fen'Harel, and sometimes just normal wolf statues without much reason behind it. Even if they appear to be identical.
When an art designer is sitting down working on a 'culture' set, he makes about as much as he thinks the level designers are going to need. Then the level designers build the place up using them. These assets are reused over and over. They sometimes have meaning behind them. But a lot of the time they do not. They're just chosen for artistic interest.
Okay. Cannon playthrough(not waiting on the mythical quest for Solas to patch), but I need opinions. I'm torn. What to do with Cole's quest. I read Asunder and part of me wants to make him more human. But the part of me that super fell for Solas actually GETS why he wants to make Cole more spirit.
Anyone have any thoughts on how this might affect future gameplay or even just future Solas. SO TORN!! And I always get the feels when Solas disapproves, so I like to be super sure on what I do cross him on. For instance I'm so saving the Wardens and stopping him from killing the mages.

I like both paths for different reasons. I love Cole as a spirit because it feels right, it's what he is, and we already have many humans in our team. I love the fact that he thanks you for accepting him for what he is, not trying to change him. He seems so happy at first, but as the story progresses he looks a bit sad.
On the contrary, if you make him more human he doesn't seem so happy in the first scene, but in the end he's able to just sit down with you and remember the old Cole, instead of forgetting him for good.
So... I didn't help much, I'm sorry :/
I know!!! This is my problem. I have loved both of them.
I'm so torn on what to do about Solas' leg armor. On one hand, the Battlemage Mail legs match well with the rest of his outfit and they look really nice...but it feels like blasphemy to put him in closed-toe shoes. There's always the Battlemage Armor/Coat legs, which are nice and non-blasphemous, but they don't match the rest of the outfit as well. *a terrible decision not unlike deciding who to put on the throne of Orlais*
I just finished his romance...I'm a broken woman now. Thanks Patrick Weeks...and bioware I guess.
I admit I'm a sucker for (tragic) romance stories that is why I romance characters in the first place, it's like reading a novel.
But the feels! Damn you, you shiny egg, I want to both hug and punch you!
I'll go back to drawing him. I have several unfinished works anyway....

Like foliage in ME3's dream sequence proving the Indoctrination Theory? My old English teacher told me once that sometimes the curtains are just blue, there's no deeper meaning to it.

I doubt Cole's status matters in the long run, I personally prefer spirit because that's what he is and Varric argument that he came through to be a person doesn't match what Cole tells you but there's good and bad arguments for both sides.

If it helps, Spirit!Cole doesn't forget for good, at least according to that last Patrick Weekes interview.

This! Okay, then I won't feel like a jerk for going Spirit even though I really like that path. And one less thing that Solas will frown at me for.
Sigh. Here come the feels. The good and the bad. ![]()

I caved to Solas-pressure on my initial playthrough, but I think my eventual canon run will side with Varric. One of Solas' inferred beliefs is that people have a Place in the Universe that cannot, or should not, be changed. It's where the core tenets of the Qun went horribly wrong, and I think that's a belief that needs challenging.
Solas: " This is not some fanciful story, Child of the Stone. We cannot change our nature simply by wishing."
Not by wishing, true- but Cole can decide to change, and by deciding he actually makes it so. Cole shapes himself with every choice he makes.
I think Solas could use the reminder that this holds true for everyone. Even himself.
I must have missed this! I only listened to the Solas bit... he forgets only in part?
He said Spirit!Cole doesn't delete his memories, he just "lets it go". I think he just doesn't let himself dwell in his old baggage.

Except Cole doesn't decide to change for himself. You decide to change him. That kinda bothers me tbh.

I like more human Cole. But this is my true issue with humanizing him. That everything he requests is not to let him hurt people, to stay true to his compassionate self...and regardless of if he hurts the guy or not in the end, you don't know that when you send him off. It just seemed wrong to me too.
