What are the requirements to get the Solas endgame wolf tarot card? Completed his romance with max approval but when all was said and done all i had was Solas' card with an X.

Which wolf tarot?  The white wolf or the looming black wolf?

I had approval maxxed, or close to it.  I chose the sad options in the romance scene.  I talked to him about the breakup after the romance scene.  I am not saying those are the requirements but that was what I chose.

I wish the shipping to Canada wasn't so stupid expensive.  I love a lot of the stuff on the store, but the shipping costs deter me every time.  Last year I ordered the Normandy SR2 replica (which is tiny) and a couple shirts, was almost $30 S&H.  Which I can't wrap my brain around.  I do most of my shopping online, and often from US companies (Jinx, US Amazon, ThinkGeek) and pay at the most $8-15, even on large orders.

 

Just went and checked sure enough $14 S&H for one t-shirt.  That's better and not as outrageous as what they were charging last year.  BioWare is Canadian, I am Canadian, I should get a discount or something!  Come on man.  (I am totally kidding, I am not that entitled lol)  Well maybe when I have some extra money I'll get a couple shirts.  Hoping they'll do romance tarot shirts!

That is insane!!!  Even the $6 I just paid for S&H is too much in my opinion.

I'm in Alberta too!

 

I'm not sure why that is.  I assume it has something to do with export laws and electronics.  I used to be able to order games from US amazon when special editions weren't available at any Canadian retailers.  Can't anymore.  Thankfully we seem to get every SE/CE here now.  (Yeah I am a sucker for that stuff.)

Correct!  The Tower (black wolf) is the non-romanced card.

I'm mulling over the nature of the orb.  One would think it a focci and key to an Eluvian, but I'm thinking it's the key to THE Eluvian, as opposed to just "an" Eluvian.  Corypheus seemed to think it a tool to gain him access to the Black City.  Well, what if it's literally the key to an Eluvian leading into the heart of that giant floating not-Arlathan?  If so... anyone Solas would want to save within would likely already be Blighted.  And Solas would know that, surely.

Right... though be careful about connecting her difficulty to the Pantheon at large.  If you subscribe to Dalish Earth/Sun creation theory, "Mythal" is a fundamentally different entity from the others- her original physical form long dead and outside the realm of Thedas as we know it.  What remains in our universe is the now tattered remnants of her spirit / soul, which is unable to pass through the veil as lesser spirits can.  Since she can't pass into the Fade "crossroads", she can't be redirected to another physical body on death, and is thus forced to haunt the physical world waiting for a sentient being with an open conduit willing to grant her access. 

 

Hey madrar, I've been rereading your "Triad" theory. It is so well crafted, good job! I was preoccupied with trying to pin down the characters of the Elvhen Pantheon for such a long time, I wasn't interested in moving on to whatever existed before. But I realise now that your triad fits neatly with everything we've discovered/tin-foil hatted so far. The Songs and the nature of magic in particular. I AM ON BOARD! until DLC evidences otherwise 

 

So I can answer my own questions in my last post with the triad! Wham, bam, thank you ma'am. 

 

It appears this 'June the Betrayer' theory makes the assumption that Lyrium already exists and is in use by the time these events begin. Cross-referencing to prior tin-foil theories, the Lyrium may be the component responsible for giving "The Stone" it's "hive-mind" properties. More precisely, it's collective consciousness and "song". Like a neural network. 

 

June then wishes to adapt this knowledge with the "Blight" discovered by Andruil. Which brings us to the only pieces of information we know are certain - that "Red Lyrium" is "Blighted Lyrium" (thanks Bianca), and that Blight has it's own "song". 

 

Lyrium + Blight = 2 mangled together, out-of-tune songs. 

 

"Tainted blood of the gods" is generally believed to be blood of gods having contracted the "Blight". 

 

We now have a working tin-foil theory that the Forgotten Ones, that is, another set of gods separate from the Old Gods and/or Elvhen Pantheon, are ancient dwarven gods."The Stone" began to be worshipped at some point later in the timeline after being "crafted", leaving those gods "forgotten". 

 

So the questions we are left with are where did standard Lyrium come from? And did "The Blight" have a significant origin, before being discovered in the void?

Maybe being blighted for a higher being isn't so bad. Cornflakes seems to think it holds much power, and one can't deny he is powerful due to the blight. Practically immortal and stronger than an archdemon.

Oh boy, next game could be 1. Help/Let Solas realease the Blight to (in some conveluded way) restore the old gods    2. Stop Solas, saving the world as it is, but destroying the gods in the process
