I will have to test this.

On Tiger's Endgame save and pre temple of mythal save, every single artifact in existence has been activated. I was trying to get it to trigger before so I ended up following Dragon's guide. I loaded up my pre-What Pride has wrought save (all artifacts activated) just now. No war table mission. Tried going out and returning to skyhold. Still didn't activate. So either you need a save before 10 have been touched, or where you at least have one you can activate.

If I have to go back to before 10, I'm not even sure where that would be. As it is, just finding a save where not every single one has been grabbed is losing 30 hours of gameplay. I sure hope that works. Going back much further than that, I dunno if its worth it.

Eh. What am I saying? Of course it's worth it. Anything for more Solas. Silly me.

Sure wish we could name save games. Having a pile of double time stamped saves is going to drive me nuts. And the only alternative is to find the magic save where I can get this to trigger, and then delete all the rest. So much lost!

My kingdom for SetStage console command. :/ That'd fix everything right up.

Just wanted to confirm that I had done more than 10 prior to this patch.  I went out and activated one with Solas and the War Table Mission popped up for me.  Thread moves fast so I just wanted to confirm it for you that it does indeed work.

Heh... don't worry about it. I romanced Solas and love the character (and find him attractive as well) but... all of the above? There are a lot.  And I thought folks were really good about the tagging etc for respect for those that aren't into it.  Interesting to think that despite the 'tiptoeing' some would still feel like it's too much.

I'm sure it's been pointed out before, but a wee tidbit I thought that was interesting while I was exploring the Emerald Graves today, is that one of the Vallasdahlen has this note after you mark his spot:
 

"Sulan was Mathalin's squire. He walked always with a wolf by his side."

 

Could be nothing, could be something. I may just be hyper paranoid of anything wolf related.

Well most people here label it and put it under spoilers so you don't even have to see it if you don't want to. Of course, people are going to forget or slip up once in a while and sometimes it could be hard to gauge how "weird" or "explicit" something is to warrant a label and tag. People here just jump in whenever to talk about what they want. There are plenty of people who mainly talk about theory. I think we have a good balance of different topics going on which is why this thread is so fun.

Well, we know that Fen'Harel had general concerns about the people. Maybe he gave them wolves to keep them safe or something. Possibly. Who knows.

I just don't read the stuff I don't care about. I really enjoy reading some of the theories, lore and looking at the pretty art people post though. Personally, I'm not into the porn and smut either...but a lot of people are..and that's fine..I skip that part. Easy enough.

If you're still feeling blue about the way Solas treated you, don't feel too bad, he'll be back. He's just using the Dennis System:

 

Demonstrate Value- Solas presents himself as fade expert, shows you how to use mark. Keeps it from killing you.

Engage Physically- Self explanatory. Doing so in the fade is also a nice cheap alternative to dating.

Nurturing Dependence- You go to him for interesting lore bits, and or his magical skills.

Neglect Emotionally- Hahahahaha, lololol.... You know this one all too well.

Inspire Hope- Hmm, Solas might've skipped a step actually, lol. I dunno, maybe someone who actually played through his romance can share.

Separate Entirely- Solas' end game exit.

Thanks. So it means I lose 30 hours if I want Tiger to experience this. It's better than losing 100, but I'll have to do the Winter Palace and Mythal's temple, and about a million other side things all over again. Really, I'm ok with retracing nearly all the other steps, but having to go through the breakup again. That's No Bueno.

Reckon I'll just let Serenity see it first. I'm glad its been fixed, though. Even if it's too late for my Lavellan.

Just to clarify so the deviants here know, I actually am into smut lol, I write Elderscrolls smut and Cassandra smut. About to write a Fiona smut story too.

 

I'm just not homosexual smut. Addai wrote a story, as some might remember as it was posted here. Read that and loved it despite not being as emotionally invested in Solas as you lot are.

Honestly I wouldn't redo 30 hours just for the quest.  You don't get any dialogue or cut scenes.  I have 2 PTs that will never get it.

aaagh guys I just had to pop in and post this song from the new Sleater-Kinney album (which I listened to all day at work because it's awesomesauce) 

 

check it though the lyrics are PERFECT (and the title is "Fade" I mean, WHAT) especially if your Lavellan is a little aggro about the whole breakup like mine is...I can totally imagine her smashing up Solas' fancy little table while blasting this song.

Liked, because Sleater-Kinney. I'm actually seeing them live next month in Boston. Funny story though... I watched a good season and a half of Portlandia before going 'wait, Carrie Brownstein. As in THAT Carrie Brownstein!? No wonder she looked so familiar!' Derp. Not one of my proudest moments...

 

Anyway, back on topic. Solas' war table quest! So glad they fixed it. Even if there is no dialogue or anything, more Solas content is good. I started re-playing Origins (as a Dalish elf for the first time ever! Always played humans expect for that one city elf playthrough) recently, then I'll do DA2 and Inquisition. Mostly to hunt cool lore stuff I missed the first time. I'll be honest, I paid little attention to the elven gods and their lore until recently, because I didn't find them all that interesting. Now I can't get enough. I blame The Egg. Also Felassan. Loved them both, even though they made me sad.
