I totally understand that feeling, Janesutin. Sometimes, I am so proud of what I have done and I want to share it with people and...I sometimes have expectations, which is wrong of me. I get the hope that a few people will go, "WOW! THIS WAS SO AMAZING THAT I HAD TO TAKE A COLD SHOWER AFTERWARDS!" but then...nothing. I cry a little on the inside. Then again, I still get some love and a little is still enough for me.

 

I'm not able to watch videos on my laptop right now, for some reason and it is really ticking me off, but I will subscribe to your channel so that I don't miss any videos.

 

Also, on the subject, DA is holding a fan creation contest so...maybe you might want to try that out. idk.

Q: have any of you found the hidden quest that starts with Parson's Battered Notebook? It's in the Emerald Graves. I can find very little information on it.

I've done it.  The "reward" isn't remotely worth the trouble, but if you need a hint or walkthrough, just say the word.

Same. I have expectations for myself so I never feel satisfied. One moment I'm filled with glee then I'm filled with regret.

For our theorists: Several people comment on water pouring into the Fade from the real world, and in Crestwood Cole can comment that water is more familiar to the demons than other substances (something like that, I didn't cap the actual quote so I can't remember his exact wording). Can water really physically pour through the Fade, and if so what does that mean?

This is where we need our real life scientists. I sort of imagine it's because water is naturally a good conductor. I don't know how water could physically come through, except maybe at rifts or as some kind of condensation.? It's pretty liquidy at the rift sites.

In other words: no idea.

I've got nothing on theorizing besides that the tevinter believed lake calenhad was blessed by a god, and that it would grant wisdom if you drank from them, which sounds like the well of sorrows to me. More borrowed legends from elves perhaps.

 

The Tevinters believed that the waters of Lake Calenhad were blessed by Razikale, god of mysteries, and that those who drank from them were granted special insights. This was why they built the great tower on an island in the middle of the lake, hoping the powers of the lake would aid their magical research.

I think Kinloch Hold was built by the Avvar. Which makes all the magical weirdness going on there quit interesting. And it's probably why the Vints drove them out in the first place. Magical weirdness is kind of their thing.

So I'm just going to throw out a crazy hat theory that's just now popped into my head.

'Shadow goddess' could be Falon'din being so pretty they mistook him for a lady. Or it could be Andruil, twisted by the Void and 'wielding weapons of darkness'.
