maybe this could help?

Hah, somebody should draw it. Definitely.
And now tin-hat theories time. Or else I will explode.
Of course it's been discussed before, but not exactly in the same context, I hope. Otherwise, just ignore me.
So, remember this creepy little codex from Nightmare's domain?
WE ARE HEREWE HAVE WAITEDWE HAVE SLEPTWE ARE SUNDEREDWE ARE CRIPPLEDWE ARE POLLUTEDWE ENDUREWE WAITWE HAVE FOUND THE DREAMS AGAINWE WILL AWAKENIt's almost undoubtedly Old Gods of Titans, Forgotten Ones, or whatever, trying to communicate, but that's not the point. My point is the line "Wehave found the dreams again" suggests that at some point this whateves has been cut out from the Fade, for it represents dreams in its raw form. And then something hit the fan, which is not Cory (because it just doesn't make sense). And when it hit, voila, we have red lyrium crystalls all over the Fade, even in the encounter with Envy. Meanwhile, at the time when red lyrium was discovered in the primeval thaig (+- several years after this), the Fade was unpolluted, as we can see in Fenyriel's quest. And if I don't make sense, also ignore me
It would be pretty terrible IF:
The Old Gods and the Elven Gods aren't connected at all
and
The Elven Gods are being corrupted as we speak by Red Lyrium.
and
When/If they get let out, we're going to have a group of very pissed off corrupted elven gods.
Hmmm, not for me, I was able to mack on that golden-haired hunk of templar beef after breaking up with Egg-Head... (Don't worry, it was just for funsies, I went back and suffered that emotional punishment, like the true martyr I am...)
Lol yeah i felt scummier with him flat out refusing! Wonder what i did different though.
So maybe the old gods who were released and supposedly destroyed could be behind it? I said before that I didn't think the archdemon's souls were truly lost. I still don't.
And you know what else? Those profane in dragon age 2 were said to have been made by "eating the gods". They survive off of Lyrium...
If the old gods are responsible for red lyrium, it'd make sense that it appears underground. Because that's where they were sealed. And when they were sealed, the red lyrium, the taint was probably stored in the golden city at the same time. The taint might be the essence of the old gods full power they once had, hence why they have a connection to it and can call out to it in the first place.

Oh, I am so looking forward to DLC/DA4. Would be fun to fix all this mess.

What I don't get, is if it's their essense and power, why "polluted" and "sundered"? These words indicate, that the taint is relativly recent and is not good for health, so to speak.
OMG How good doesn't my Lavellan look in her new outfit *jumping with joy*
Solas greatly approves...
@Ajna
Use the DAI modder and follow the instruction and everything will be peaches.
I too had trouble until I did that. DAI seems to me a lot more complicated than DAO and DAII to mod
I want to make a cool video but I got a cavity filled today so I can't talk nooooooo
I believe that is because DA:I was never intended to be modded. Frostbite is a bit difficult to crack from my understanding.
Hm, I thought he simply introduced it slowly, mixing with the blue one. And he "did as he was told to". I don't remember that line coming from him.
Well i cant find a video of him saying this sooo i gots no proof lol
I just had this scene last night, i'll reload and see if i can at least get a transcritpt of what he said.
.

You should do it anyway for the laughs...

Lucky you. Whatever I do, I cannot make merged files work due to replaced localization subtitles files. So it's either I enjoy eng subs, or modded content with awful translation on the background. Oh, the pain...
.
Honestly would be pretty DANG stoked to play that game.
Yeees. Most exciting prospect Inquisition gave was the possibility of having some awesome elven villains to work through. Hopped up on red lyrium crack or not.
Game is saved, panic over, I'll do it properly next time...

But isn't there an option to keep english subs in the game? I changed the language from the game menu.
unless... that's not what you mean lol.
Yeah, different strokes for different folks! I'm just that annoying person who prefers my armor/ outfit fit the world setting and the necessities of battle. I can't tell you how grateful I am that Cassandra's armor didn't feature molded boob cups that would guide an arrow straight to her heart.
But I totally understand that that is unique to me and not something everyone else must feel or agree with. I just like being able to kick ass and not be objectified while doing it. Looking good yes, but giving the enemy a show while I do it? No thanks.
For battle yes, I agree. But to walk around in at home and for multiple characters to have the same, the other's simpler.
And I haven't found any mod for this one to actually download... Never mind found it... might try both and see which one's the best.

Just like we like you!
You know what the most attractive thing about the PJ reskins are to me? How much better the pants will look with my armour...
Once we get in game re-customization I might start buggering about with eyebrows and stuff...
I love how he's such a sobering influence over such a beautiful moment. XD
Yet, it's a beautiful moment based on a beautiful lie people tell themselves to make themselves feel better. Solas is honest enough to say, "Let's be real: the cause of the chaos was an elven artifact, and they'll jump at the chance to vilify the elves if they got it. Also, we're in serious trouble. Pretty words and songs are nice, but they're just words and songs. People say they love you now, but it'll fade if you don't have the trappings of a king to show for it. Corypheus could also attack again, and you need an actual, defensible fortress to stand up to him a second time. Here's my practical, real-world solution to this actual, real-world problem. I have exactly what you need to succeed, not what I want to feel better."
Is that a double entendre?
Also, I love how he coaches you to scout ahead and act like you're the one who discovered Skyhold. I thought it was odd during my first playthrough that Solas didn't just come out and tell everyone where Skyhold was, then I realized he was setting it up so you would look like that much more of the in-control leader and inspiring hero. He's using his knowledge of human nature and politics to set you up as the figurehead you need to be to stop Corypheus. He's helping the "spark" of faith and loyalty Justinia lights at the camp after the destruction of Haven spread into a wildfire that engulfs Southern Thedas. And is completely fine standing back and letting you take all the credit while he watches and helps from the shadows. I don't know why, but that impressed the heck out of me.
I gotta say too, that scene was so much more powerful when you've flirted with / planning to romance him. Having just played as a male Lavellan, it doesn't feel nearly as powerful. He's kind of the quiet, aloof, mysterious apostate who gives only vague answers about his past and keeps himself a respectable distance from everyone, then just kind of says "I know a solution" out of the blue and fades into the background again.
When you've flirted before, spent more time together, and/or your Lavellan fancies him, it feels like you two are more equal partners. You two build the Inquisition together. He gives you the knowledge and instructions you need, and you go forth carrying out the task. You two restore the damage your enemy has caused. You two work toward rebuilding and stopping him.
I don't know why, but this scene... really, really works. Just another way the romance enhances the story, and feeling less like an enjoyable side-quest.
I love this scene so much. When I first played it, the singing was beautiful, but it didn't actually help my Trevelyan...or even me. I was feeling all this pressure, all this dread, and I was like: "that was lovely BUT WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NOW?!" Then Solas comes along and gives me a real solution and I wanted to hug him so tight because that made me feel better than this divine faith in me/my character.
Terrwyn definitely appreciated it. She was up there with her closest friend, scheming with him to keep the people's faith in her alive. It was just brilliant.
I would love Him, Rapheal Sbarge and Brandon Keener to read to me.... anything book will do.... even the phone book
i has no life...
Add Alan Rickman and Benedict Cumberbatch, and that is my list of people. XD
I made a fake screenshot of the final scene, as it should have been.
Spoiler
This made me super happy and super sad all at once, and I don't know which one to feel. XD
Sorry to temporarily interrupt the Solas broadcast, but my friend made a gif and I can't contain my squee.

Cassandra...I would cuddle her like no tomorrow. ![]()
Thinking about how Solas' romance scenes are few and far between compared to, say Cullen's (only other romance I've gone through with), I think it's because, unlike Cullen, Solas' romance arc isn't over yet. He leaves before it can be resolved one way or the other. That and the fact our romance locks in only at the point where he breaks up with our Lavellan tells me it's probably not the last we're going to get romance-wise.
*waving tiny team optimist flag*
*waves flag with you* Sealing the romance at the end was very curious to me. It's like...we're tying ourselves to him at his worst. That speaks volumes.
So in the ending scene with Flemeth/mythal, it looks like she is "pushing" something in the elluvian. What do you guys think that is?
My theory: Either her own spirit for safe keeping, or the other dragon souls she's been collecting over the years. I really think she's putting something in there.
But isn't there an option to keep english subs in the game? I changed the language from the game menu.
unless... that's not what you mean lol.
That's for normal people. Those of us, who live in Poland and Russia, have to be inventive, because we are deprived of an option to bloody change language in game.

I think it was Mythal's essence.

The Dragonborn was low, so Flemythal was giving them a hand.
Seriously though, I'm not entirely sure she is dead. If she can split her soul like she did in DA2 to save herself if the Warden kills her, then...I wonder if she has insurance elsewhere too. Solas may have taken the largest piece, but I'll bet Flemythal has another piece somewhere.
