I'm not sure Gaider would be against playing a PC of a different gender or orientation to experience different content, but I suspect you are right.  Most of us have a bias toward playing our own gender and orientation, at least on the first time through a game.

Yeah... Allan's probably the only one who checks in on the forums often, or at least, the only one I see post with any frequency... so he's probably the only one who realizes just how tense and ridiculous things have gotten here.  Also, unlike a lot of the other devs, he's not completely evil, so he's probably feeling sorry for the lot of us
