No offense taken. And honestly, I do like the Andrastian faith, but I can't stand the chantry, and agree they are fools the majority of the time. I would not shed tears if the chantry collapsed. In real life I have very little love for Churches too, but I won't start that conversation here.
I am glad that being the herald and accepting andrastian faith doesn't mean I have to support the chantry as well. That much was appreciated.

She's rude in the Temple of Mythal? I never knew that, but to be honest I've never taken her.
Yes. Very - she goes "how could the elves believe in this claptrap". It was almost OOC because she's usually pretty respectful with Solas. Then again Solas pretty vehemently states that he does not believe the elven gods were gods - well not like in the way people believe in the Maker, so I think that puts her at ease.

This is how it plays in my head. That we'll have to kill him. It's a very upsetting thought, but even if he's "redeemed" at the end, it'll be too late. He'll have set things in motion to the point where we may have to kill him just to stop badness. I don't think we'll even have an option. That's the realist in me talking and I think it would make for a better story. On the othetr hand the optimist in me hopes we get the "Stranger Than Fiction" ending. Happy ending.

Cassandra's very open minded and tolerant, so this is a bit hard on her. She's still Andrastian and the temple is WTF is this even for a Dalish elf, so I don't mind that she's skeeved out by it, especially if you go through some ritual you don't even understand. If companions bent to your every whim, they wouldn't be as interesting.I just wish there was a dialogue option to say: Look, Cassandra/Giselle/whomever: you are allowed to believe what you like, and I respect your decision to do so. Ehhh, it varies a lot. Catholicism is rather distinct from, say, the Baptist churches. Or Mormons. And then you've got your Anglicans, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Unitarians, Seventh Day Adventists...
Now, TV Christianity is Catholicism (of a sort). Writers can't resist all of the costumes and rituals and big ol' stained glass windows. That's why the Chantry is based off of the Catholic church, most likely.

Yea people disagree, but if you ask me, one would have to ignore history to consider them outside Christianity. I know some Catholics who are even offended at the notion, and I personally consider them Christian, despite the differences. There's a lot of branches of christianity that are very different as well.
