Well, I suppose this is finally at the state where it isn't complete blackmail. Here's the linework for the Solas/Lavellan picture I am working on.

Still have a fair bit left to do though, and probably one or two things to tweak a bit. 

 

This is really lovely! I love the details and the background! (I'm really crap at drawing backgrounds xD)

After all that talk about possibly killing Solas, seeing this cheered me up.

Can't wait to see the finished artwork!

If DG gets his hands on Solas then he is going to be killed off faster than you smiting a nug with lightning. I love DG's characters but Bioware and him seem to be out for blood after the DLC for DA2 were dropped.

 

Dorian's doing pretty well.  And thus far the romance with him and Adaar on my second playthrough has been surprisingly sweet.  And I'm pretty sure Dorian's not going to turn out to be an ancient magister, dump me, and run off to do mysterious evil things.

I know that it's more difficult for him to cross the veil when he drinks tea,because of the caffeine.
I was saying that in a humorous way since I really love tea.

Thanks! Which wacom do you use? I had one back in 2008/9ish and could probably ask my mum to hunt it down and post it, but it's probably past it's best by now. Do you draw on paper and then scan it, or do you do everything on photoshop? Haha, sorry if I'm being too nosey! The art in this fandom is really inspiring and I haven't felt this much urge to draw in years, so I'm very excited. Your lines are so crisp and clean, they're just gorgeous! 

 

Mine is an intuos 4! But to be honest, I had an ancient graphire four years ago that was serving me just fine in college. So chances are if you've got a tablet and it is of a reasonable size for you to work at, it will be just fine!

 

I generally do everything in photoshop, but that's just a personal preference. If I do use paper, it tends to be thumbnail roughs or random doodles.

I just tell them all to hold position while I platform.  The game's controls are dodgy enough without companions getting in my way.

 

Though I think every time I've fallen off of something, it's been my fault.  Usually Sera and I cheerfully Leaping Shot off mountains, giving absolutely no f***s about gravity or consequences.

Lol, well here's to hoping! I'm just stating my own opinion that I gathered based on previous blog posts from DG and then from his interactions with fans who questioned him on those posts. As long as we all get closure to whatever happens in the end then I will be more than happy with it, but I really hope we won't have what DA2's dlc would had been - mass character death.

Kinda sucks that Solas doesn't though,it ruins my Lavellan's plans for elfy tea parties with Abelas and Flemythal.

Felassan was very likely an ancient elf, and he was a dreamer.  And he had scenes where he ate, so I think eating is still a thing for old dreamer elves.

I really miscalulated with Fade Step in the Hinterlands when fighting bears.  Ended up shooting off a hill and into a bunch of Lyrium Prowlers.  Fun times.

Well, Exalted March was scrapped pretty early on, and Gaider's said before that the game in early concept doesn't really resemble the final product in a lot of ways.  So hopefully someone could have talked them out of the mass character death  But David Gaider's been feeding off fan tears since Baldur's Gate (the series where they killed off LI in epilogue slides) so I can't say I'm entirely surprised.

Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can get hold of my old one; it was huge and expensive so hopefully I can get some more use out of it.

I think they can eat as well,perhaps they don't need to do it as often as normal people.But one assumes that after they wake up they'd have to eat.

I hope Weekes can balance them out then, should they plan to do that. He did a pretty good job with Cole, and that was/is a very dark character that must have been difficult to write.
